Even though it's still about two weeks away for me, seeing it say "In 1 Day" brought a tear to my eye.

Did they miss a trick by not using SKYFALL's Eve on the poster for today - Skyfall Eve..? Perhaps too subtle. More exciting than Christmas Eve though.

I know it's supposed to be a 'treat' for the UK getting it early, which is fine, but it's seriously infuriating their more hardcore North American fanbase. What a ridiculous decision not to drop the film day and date in the major markets. Just utterly dumb.

It certainly will help with pirating, in the sense of encouraging it.

I doubt there will be a decent pirate in 2 weeks, it'll all be shakey, in cinema videos - that may have worked for QoS, but I doubt anyone would want that for Skyfall. I don't think a pirate, video cameraed video will affect the film.

Originally, I thought the same (that delaying the North American would increase pirating and hurt the box office), but the last time this issue came up, someone gave a very cogent explanation of how North America and Europe, due to different emphasis on certain holidays and other factors, have different movie-going seasons. As such, the UK and US releases are actually well-timed to best exploit both markets to the maximum.

After watching CR and QOS (for the 21st and 29th time respectively). I kept noticing how flawless and magnificent his hair looks on him in those two when compared to Skyfall.I so desperately hope that he grows his hair and puts on modern suits for Bond 24.

The hair is military based. I like it, I cut my hair very short like that every 2-4 months.

Oh and Arnold looks ridiculous. As for the whole pirating: I saw QOS a week early and it was a clean cam of the film. Of course, I still saw the film the following week.

Pirating won't do anything but have those who are unable to see it first hand torrent it and watch it, then it's a 50/50 whether or not that person is going to see the movie in the theater or forget about it.
