Who Do You Want to be the Next Bond Girl?

Well here's a few lovely ladies I had in mind and I'd really like to hear your too:
-Violante Placido (The extremely hot Italian actress/singer that was in The American; and if you think about it, she already has practice being in a spy movie.)
-Frieda Pinto (I haven't seen any of work honestly. Best known for Slum Dog and now Rise of the Planet of the Apes.)
-Rachel Weiz (well she did just marry Mr. Craig himself. but that could be too much drama on the set.)
-Marion Cotillard (if you haven't seen Inception or Public Enemies...go see them. This girl can really act and be very dramatic (in a good way)).
That's all I have right now. Like I said, please share your opinions. If you don't like mine, no harm done. That's the point of the forum. Peace.

All very solid choices, especially Placido and Pinto. I thought that The American was quite good and Placido really did quite well in that film, so I'd love to see her in a Bond film in the near future. I'm not as familiar with Pinto, but based on the little bit I've seen of her, I think she would have the potential to be quite good as well.
Natalie Portman, Nanako Matsushima, Yvonne Strahovski, Lesley-Aann Brandt, Keira Knightley, Mélanie Laurent... I don't have any specific choice. But not Freida Pinto. Too obvious and not enough... mysterious. If Bond23 takes place in India, I would prefer by far Riya Sen.
I definitely agree with your suggestions of Yvonne Strahovski, Melanie Laurent, and Natalie Portman.
My choices would be (including some already mentioned):
-Yvonne Strahovski (EON would really be missing out if they didn't cast her in one of the next couple of Bond films. CHUCK wraps filming in November, I think, so she could possibly be available for BOND 23).
-Paula Patton (although probably not too likely given she's starring opposite Tom Cruise in M:I4
-Stana Katic (either reprising her blink-and-you'll-miss-it role from Quantum of Solace or as a new character)
-Emily Blunt
-Hayley Atwell
-Teresa Palmer
-Gina Carano (this would be contingent on Steven Soderbergh's Haywire, in which she stars, being any good. If she can make the transition from competitive fighting to acting, then I think she could be play a truly formidable opponent for Bond in the vein of a May Day type character who can actually match Bond, or even surpass him, in a physical confrontation)

That said, someone I would like to see appear in a Bond film is Summer Glau:
And while she's not an actor - she's a lingerie model - I think Jessica Michibata would be a good choice, assuming she can act:

As for Olivia Wilde, I think she's pretty good, but the track record for an American Bond girl has never been that good. For example, Denise Richards and Halle Berry (who somehow won an Oscar).
I do think that Naiome Harris as Moneypenny would be a good choice. But, I still say that the main Bond girl(s) should be international girls. I'm still all about Violante Placido and Marion Cotillard.

Just re-watched Casino Royale and was amazed at the gorgeousness of the three main ladies, plus all the beautiful extras (female and male) in the casino scene. In comparison the beautiful people scenery in Q of S was pathetic.
James Bond movies have always been great at using mostly unknown or rarely seen faces like the then unknown Ursula Andress etc. Yes, agree Natalya in Golden Eye definitely one of my favourite Bond Girls. Monica Belluci is stunning and looks 10-15 years younger than her age -- so no problem. Would have loved Rachel Weisz as one of the main ladies, but not much chance of that now she has signed up with the next Jason Bourne movie.
Definitely don't want to see an Indian (who lives in India) cast in the love scenes -- the furor will go on forever -- does anyway remember the Miss World that was held in India and the feminist attacks and promises of self-immolation on the runway?

How about letting her be an actual character first? I'd much rather a plain Bond Girl who fits into the story rather than someone who is simply in there because she's good-looking. Both are ideal, but if for whatever reason that's not possible, I'd take characterisation first.Whoever she is, let her be gorgeous. No more girls like Olga Kuryenko, with her cheap clothes, spray tan, exposed burn scars on her back (for the storyline) and gritty attitude. Her type is more suited to Jason Bourne.

Totally agree on your statement about the girls chosen for Casino Royale. Perhaps if parts of the plot from Carte Blanche are used in the film (charity event, London restaurants, etc), the attention to the glamorous can be heightened. Its a shame Olga wasn't given the chance to act in that sort of role: she would have been twice the Bond girl...

Okay, I'll admit that she's not immediately pretty. But she does grow on you. She's half-Australian, half-Tibetian. I know some people from the Himalayas and they've got that same bone structure, and after a while, it's really quite hypnotic.

Lucy Griffiths, Emily Browning, and Abbie Cornish. I haven't seen the latter two in action, but I remember Lucy from the BBC's Robin Hood show which was good. And they look good, too, even though looks aren't everything.

Well, Green was French and she played the very British role of Vesper I think slider was trying to convey that French women are sexy, which some of them are Of course she´d be more suitable as a French operative that meets Bond in Le Café de la Paix, saying "crashdive" or something like that - haven´t read the novel in quite a while.

Rachel Nichols from GI Joe. A 10 and a ginge. Or Leelee Sobieski, more like a 15. LOL. Or possibly Scarlett Johansson.
