Mike Myers wanted to do a running gag with Brosnan in one of the Austin Powers films (Goldmember, I think). Every time Powers opened a door, Brosnan was going to be stood behind it dressed as James Bond.

While I can't confirm if this is true or not, I heard that Brosnan was the one that nixed the idea.
