Just bumping this to say that filming has begun. I for one am looking forward to it. I hope the soundtrack is similar, that was a big highlight of the first film.

Looks the standard sort of silly stuff:

Atkinson looking slightly cool somehow, though. Sideburns suit him.

He's got the Miami International jacket on in those last two picks. Looks silly.

Well, a biker jacket. Cruise wore one in MI3 too.

I hate to admit it, but I've always enjoyed the first film.

It's incredibly stupid...but I think it's hilarious.

Hope the second installment is better, though.

I agree. The first Johnny English is brilliant! Loved every minute of it.

I liked the first film as well. Not brilliant, but quite fun.

I won't be rushing to this one. The first was hardly great (paltry and obvious and not a patch on what inspired it, ie. the Barclaycard ads).

Latham: "That's not a rug, Bough. It's a Bedouin birthing blanket. Tradition has it, a powerful aid to fertility..."

Bough: "Great! I'll get me mum one!"

Better another Johnny English movie(echoing what others have said.. guilty pleasure) than another Austin Powers movie.

Johnny English reborn is coming out, with Mr Bean actor Rowan Atkinson, Rosamund Pike, Tim mcinnery and Ben Miller it should be a good bond spoof.

Hi, mate. There's another thread over here if you want to check it out. :)

It says so on IMDB, i know that means little, but a quick google search seems to bring up a number of different results.
I for one hope its true, Broz has a sense of humour, the whole of the Tailor of Panama was a Bond parody really.

Hopefully he gets an on screen reunion with Rosamund.

Matt Smith is apparently playing Young Johnny English, too.

Mike Myers wanted to do a running gag with Brosnan in one of the Austin Powers films (Goldmember, I think). Every time Powers opened a door, Brosnan was going to be stood behind it dressed as James Bond.

While I can't confirm if this is true or not, I heard that Brosnan was the one that nixed the idea.

Yeah, I saw that listing on IMDb as well. If I were Pierce, I would have rejected that offer. I mean, it's almost like having Dalton in Looney Tunes: Back in Action. Ugh, such a mistake. Although I do have to say that they Damien Drake thing was pretty clever and humorous. :P

Bunch of new stuff to see here. Some new pics, behind the scenes footage, and a look at Johnny's new assistant.

Definitely will be skipping this. Bond parodies have been done to death, but if it continues the careers of Purvis & Wade then good luck with it.

I'm probably going to see it. :58-1:06 is pretty great. Love the use of "Cry Me a River" by Buble at the start. Looking good.

I wonder if they'll take advantage of their premise and make fun of the whole "reboot" thing. I'd say that's worthy of a spoof.

Playing "Eye of the Tiger" makes it all the more hip, don't it?
