To commemorate 2011 bringing us the 30th anniversay of Licence Renewed and the highly anticipated publication of Project X, I thought we could give this another whirl.
There have been a couple of Bond 50s before (essentially a survey) - one for the top 50 moments and one for the top 50 villains - which seem to have gone down quite well - see http://commanderbond...he-bond-50.html and http://debrief.comma...ey-the-bond-50/
So, with two Literary Bond landmarks coming up in 2011....
What are the 50 best Bond Book moments? And why?
Take part in CBn's member survey - choose any five moments or passages or characters from the books - from any of the official Bond authors (i.e. not fan fiction) that you think represents the best of the written Bond. It might be a descriptive passage, a character, an event.
And have your say as to why! Could be any reason - personal to you or because you think that they represent what written Bond is all about! Brief reasons please!

Thank you for reading my choices Mr. Jim; I love you."
The countdown will be revealed during February 2011.
N.B. Twice may be the only way to live, but once is the only way to vote. And once you've selected, there's no going back, 007. The merest scintilla of vote rigging will result in really horrible things happening.
