CBn Forum update

Please mind the wet paint! We've tried our best to get everything perfect for our members, but there may be the odd thing not working, or looking a bit off. Please let us know in the support forum, where we'll try and address the issue asap.
One of the major new features is Twitter and Facebook integration. You can now use these services to log into the forums, or post status update messages to these sites, or even sync your CBn forum status with them.
Manage Facebook Connect
Manage Twitter Connect
There is now a host of thread sharing tools so that you can post links to your favourite sites at the click of a button.
Personal Conversations are now like your own private thread between invited members - a major improvement over personal messages. You can start a conversation and then reply to it to better keep track.
That's some of the changes that we've added. Not to mention the new theme and header image (thanks to our very own stromberg for that!)
Also, please note that our forum policy has been updated. By using the forums, you agree to abide by these. Please take a few minutes to read over this.

Someone post so we know the forums are working for everybody.

Well, what do people think?
Someone post so we know the forums are working for everybody.
It looks awesome! To tell the truth, I was privy to a sneak peek (via a glitch, apparently) of what I thought would be the future skin for CBn a few months back, and I just assumed this is what all the downtime was for. But this one is WAAAAY cooler.

Yes, well, it's called the future, so get used to it.I dunno; I rather think the original was subtler, in a way...
The new layout will take some getting used to but I like it.

What's this new feature about voting posts "up" or "down"? I'm referring to the + and - near the bottom of each post. Is this something we use if a post is really good (+) or really inappropriate/doesn't add anything to the discussion (-)
It's the new reputation system. If you like a post, you can + it. If you don't like it, you can - it.

Awesome! I've always wanted that Facebook feature on the CBn Forums.

Happened to me, too, but only once (but after more than 10 minutes). Admiral's currently looking into it. Can't be much more than minor teething troubles. How come after about 10 minutes of surfing the forums, it automatically logs me out? It's happened to me multiples times already. Has this happened to anyone else?

Nope, after continued regular browsing. 10 minutes may have been a low estimate but it has happened to me multiple times since the forums have been back online. Is this after 10 minutes of inactivity?
