Good. The last two films pumped new life into the series, being the best offerings in decades. Bring me more of the same.while i do think he's doing a great job, i don't think bond films will ever be the same as they used to be.

He has to be careful to not "over-thinking" it all.
Know what I mean?
Said it once though and I'll say it again, I pity the poor sod who'll play Bond after him.

Craig is brilliant in the role, though.

Yep, was very excited for Craig to take over in CR. And loved QOS dragging the franchise - kicking and screaming as it were - firmly into the new century. Looking forward to 23, 3-D or no 3-D (very likely not, EON will make its millions without it).I'm very pleased with Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace, but when Bond 23 debuts in 3D, my opinion of the era will take a considerable nosedive.

The best actor to play Bond by far(I still scratch my head in wonder at him accepting it, anyway), he has brought it to a new level in every score but he must not lose sight of what was created in CR by wanting to create each Bond film as a stand alone.
He has to be careful to not "over-thinking" it all.

Cast your mind back to 2005. They said the same about Pierce Brosnan

I tend to enjoy the more action-oriented films like TB, TND, and FYEO more. It's easier for me to commit 2 hours of my time to sitting in front of the TV.
Plus, both movies have wonderful leading ladies as far as character and look.
There's only a few complaints I have. One, there is almost no humor in the films. A little would be nice. Two, there's no Q character. Now, I know that Desmond can never be replaced, but I thought John Clesse did a good job and I think his kind of bumbling Q would work well w/ Craig's more serious approach..adding a few moments of comic relief to the film. Finally, where are the gadgets?

What was Sir Roger's His 3rd Spy Who Loved Me
What was Brosnan's His 3rd TWINE
Let Craig maintain the standard

What was Sir Sean's best movie? His 3rd Goldfinger
What was Sir Roger's His 3rd Spy Who Loved Me
What was Brosnan's His 3rd TWINE
Let Craig maintain the standard
Quite a few here would argue with that, especially TWINE.

I actually don't agree w/ any of that. I know a lot of people really like Goldfinger, but I find it somewhat boring. I much prefer Dr. No, From Russia with Love, Thunderball, & You Only Live Twice to Goldfinger.
I don't agree w/ the Moore and Brosnan sentiments either, but I won't get into that here.

His two films IMO belong to the most distinctive in the series and to me seem more memorable than most anything since the days of Dalton. Yes, they are controversially discussed entries, and it apparently has become fashionable to criticise especially QOS for its bold interpretations, or lack of courage, depending on which side of the mainstream people fancy their supposedly informed opinions on. But overall I couldn't be more happy. a quality actor has given us a quality performance up to now, and this is much more than an overdone and nearly obsolete icon could have hoped for so late in the day. These performances will still enrich the series as a whole and be with us when the underage celebrity groupies have long since jumped ship. Craig has made an impact and that's the most any actor could hope for in such a long running series.

I just wished that all the novels would be remade. Royale was a great cornerstone to remake all the films in chronological order while giving them a modern updating. It would have worked.
I also love the new direction, there's absolutely NO need to go back to the original formula. Despite QoS mixed reception now is the perfect opportunity to create a new and original formula for the next eighteen films or so.

So by my reconing if B23 is out at the end of 2012 Craig will be 44, so hopefully we'll get a YOLT/TSWLM B24 in 2015 and a real adaptation of the YOLT novel in 2017/18?
So yeah, another 3 before he's 50.
