I know some people think it must be great to be Zorin, and have lots of inside information, but I think it's more fun not to know what is going on. It's a bit like remaining spoiler-free in the build-up to a new movie.

If Zorin knows certain things about the Bond franchise, then I'd rather he refrained from commenting on other's fun speculations, because it takes the fun out of the chat. Of course, it's up to Zorin himself which threads he participates in, but it sometimes spoils the fun when we're having a nice discussion about, say, what the new Bond movie will be called, when Zorin says "No it won't be called that. I can't tell you what it will be called. But it won't be that". Or we speculate about the release date and he says "It is not going to be that. I can't tell you when, but it won't be then".

Some of the posts on here are just fun speculation posts. I don't want rumours to be denied or confirmed at the moment, I just want to discuss them. It kinda spoils the party to have someone suddenly reply - No you're all wrong. It's like popping a kid's balloon at a party and telling them "Well, it was only going to deflate anyway".

And there was me poised with my new shiny pin.

Time will tell. Of course there is fun in the speculation. But it tends to get really wild and overgrown. Not here to spoil anyone's fun. Far from it, in fact. But when did a bit of perspective and experience go amiss on CBN or any other fan sites?

And whilst a bit of speculation is what we all do (even Zorin Industries) the next Bond film will NOT be called THE UNDERTAKERS WIND, star Hilary Duff or be filmed in Afghanistan. Just saying...

If your idea of "wild" is saying "Bond 23 will come out in November 2011" I'd hate to see your conception of dull!

Until this MGM business is done and dusted any suggestions of a new Bond film definitely coming out on November 18th 2011 (that IS a date some people are claiming will see BOND XXIII) anything sadly is somewhat "wild" at the moment. Not that I want to be right on that one, of course.

I asked ZI in this thread: (http://debrief.comma...pic=55626&st=90) "Do you go around telling 6 year old kids that there's no such thing as Santa Claus? Just curious." and Mr.Blofeld unleashed a barrage of inflammatory rhetoric at me, calling me a "miser" and "pathetic" among other things (I suspect he received no warning from the moderators, but perhaps I am wrong).

But I go back to my original point which is that Zorin Industries has a habit of trying to shoot down every person's theory or speculation as being wrong or uninformed or ignorant, but he can't provide any facts to back up his claims or refute yours because he's taken a blood oath of secrecy with Michael G. Wilson or made a pinkie-promise with Barbara not to reveal insider information....who knows? Who cares? I'm still waiting on Zorin Industries to provide me with the relevant factual data that shows there is a bigger individual market for a major motion picture other than The United States.

As for BOND 23...who are you going to believe? Judi Dench....or Zorin Industries?

This is a fan's forum, yes? Then all sorts of fans (even little old me) can say exactly what they want. I am sorry that a bit of perspective and reality shoots down a few people who have their hearts set on this and that about a future film that as of right now doesn't have a financial big brother to lead it across the road into the cinemas. But I am getting a bit irate at your tone across ALL the threads you contribute to Mr Silhouette.

I simply cannot argue or debate with anyone who labels films what he wants to call them when he doesn't like them, ignores wider insight as it erodes what he wants to believe and then is quite catty and rude to people (and not just me) who try to set a few records straight from the standpoint of their professional lives, experience and first hand awareness of how James Bond and other films are brought to the big screens.

I am cagey and do not make deeper suggestions / provide insights on CBN about some of the things I know / have heard / been privy to when it comes to James Bond films as you are one of the least welcoming and most bullish individuals on CBN. Why on earth would anyone want to share a bit more insight about where they are coming from.

I do not give a toss that you have made it your mission in the last few weeks to pour scorn on who or what I know - as well as call into question the validity of what I suggest and want to steer the discussion sometimes towards. People that know me personally (and that includes some CBN members past and present) know full well that I am not some cyber-charlatan without a clue. I tried to message you privately to try and discuss with you away from the forums where I am coming from and try to build some bridges and confidence and you not only failed to answer (which is entirely up to you by all means), but you have also continued to pile on bitchy comments about ages old threads about films that are to all intents and purposes bits of fluffy entertainment that - at the end of the day - I really don't care THAT much about.

I would also ask you to stop pouring scorn on Zorin Industries in relation to Eon Productions. I don't raise allusions to the personnel within it on CBN for any other reason than perspective in the usually very general discussions that do the rounds (eg. LICENCE TO KILL was not a flop film period... and I have suggested the countless reasons why but you choose to ignore them - that is your choice of course, but that limits the debate about Bond films on CBN to little more than "it must be true because IMDB and such and such a website said so"...).

In the instance of this thread....

Judi Dench has not made an official statement about BOND 23. She responded to some middling queries that she no doubt gets all the time from dullard journos. If some Bond followers want to read into that that they know the title, running time and cast list that is their standpoint to raise. Mine would be the exact opposite.

Zorin Industries has a habit of trying to shoot down every person's theory or speculation as being wrong or uninformed or ignorant, but he can't provide any facts to back up his claims or refute yours because he's taken a blood oath of secrecy with Michael G. Wilson or made a pinkie-promise with Barbara not to reveal insider information....who knows? Who cares?

You clearly do because you are the one that keeps musing upon what might or might not be and continues to bring it up.

Which are? I haven´t heard any other statement as the one, that she got a message to be ready for spring 2011. Nothing contradictory about it.

Seems similar to Zorin not "hearing" shooting and making statements about "he only said work starts"

Other then that, it appears, I am not alone in disliking the way Zorin is acting out some sort of superior behaviour, some might call it arrogance on this forum. Maybe he should let the "children" play and just sit back and relax. Now that would be superior..

That's what he gets for daring to bring an even slightly-informed opinion into the wealth of cosmic idiocy that is a message board, I suppose. B)

Which is a real shame, as I tend to think of CBN always being one of the more informed, appreciative, and decent forums around.

Precisely. Zorin has always been an informed, very intelligent, good hearted, and devoted member here, and most importantly modest. Gravity on the other hand is coming across as the diametric opposite.

Indeed. He brings a nice perspective on things. And while I can't speak for others, it has always kept me patient about going ons with the new film. In fact he does reveal a lot if one is to read between the lines of some of his posts, and I couldnt ask for anything more.

I can only applaud Zorin for bringing in a balanced and informed perspective again and again. And personally, I think speculation on all subjects is more fun if the base for the speculation is valid. Otherwise we could start a new thread about Brosnan coming back for one last Bond...

So, please, Zorin, continue to set things right if needed.

Zorin Industries plc would like to thank the individuals who have been recently endorsing the work of the company. If there are indeed those that want to come on CBN and be "children" (their words, not mine) then a kids table has been set up in the CBN kitchen complete with pens, drawing paper and cut outs of Daniel Craig for people to play with and pretend to put all sorts of words in his mouth. Us "arrogant" superiors (their words, not mine) will meanwhile amble into the CBN through-lounge and quaff a glass or two of Reason 1962.

I believe that Zorin Industries has moved on from microchips to media production. If this upsets those who would rather let perception be reality, then so be it; but I see little evidence to doubt what Zorin Industries asserts. If that renders CBn a more informed message board than others, then this is all to the good, frankly.

Jim is quite right.

Our company's new venture is called ZORIN TV1. It's a new cable station we are launching on the TV subscribers of the Bay Area. We feature quiche recipes for the so inclined, our head girl MAYDAY on a documentary tour of France's Most Inspiring Car Washes and we will soon be launching our new entertainment news service - You Amuse Me - which endeavours to cut to the chase and get actors to read out the scripts of films that haven't even been financed yet from the stage door.

Dench hopes Emma Thompson will land a baddie role in Bond 23

Bond 23 - 05-12-09

Having played M in the last six James Bond films, Dame Judi Dench has a new mission. The Oscar-winning star tells Mandrake that she is keen to help her fellow actress Emma Thompson achieve her stated ambition of playing a "baddie" opposite Daniel Craig.

"It's such a good idea," Dame Judi told The Telegraph at the premiere of her latest film, Nine, at the Odeon Leicester Square. "I'd give her a hard time."

The actress, who turns 75 on Wednesday, is expected to reprise her role as the head of MI6 in the 23rd Bond film.

She said she hoped that Barbara Broccoli, the producer, could find a role for Thompson. "I can barely ask for my own part, but it would be very nice," she added.

http://www.thesun.co...Peas-video.html

I SAY, 007. Have you heard about M's secret mission?

DAME JUDI DENCH, who plays the secret agent's boss in the Bond films, is teaming up with the BLACK EYED PEAS in the Grammy-nominated group's next video.

She requested Peas' song Meet Me Halfway and had a boogie with SHINGAI of indie band THE NOISETTES. TINCHY STRYDER and AMELLE BERRABAH's No1 Never Leave You also had Judi getting down.

Fergie, who plays "a beach-dwelling prostitute", missed the premiere due to other commitments in LA. Not on the beach, I'm sure. Earlier this week The Peas were nominated for SIX Grammys - including Album Of The Year and Record Of The Year.

That will bring some heavyweight thespian action to the world of pop.

Oscar winner Dame Judi talked herself into the gig after striking up a close friendship with FERGIE, right, from the Peas.

They hit it off on the set of the film Nine, which they both star in, and which had its UK premiere on Thursday. A source said: "Fergie and Judi got on like a house on fire. They have agreed to work their diaries so Judi can be in the next video "WILL.I.AM and the rest of the band think it's a great idea."

The Nine after-party at Claridge's in London saw Judi on the dancefloor all night.

Looks like Dame Judi has found a band who can collect as much silverware as she has...

- Lets hope this does NOT mean an "in" for the next Bond theme B)
