Now that's out of the way, do you WANT Daniel Craig to return as Bond?

Suppose Daniel Craig will be back as 007, for how many films would you wish to see him back?

Should Daniel Craig not return as James Bond, would you want the current timeline continued?

I doubt it, I rather feel it's perhaps something that was already in the air back then, some vibe a big mainstream production picked up without realising perhaps its significance - if, that is, there was any significance present to begin with.

I was reading about Hiddleston philanthropy work and was blow away. This guy is awesome. He is not my first choice to play Bond but I think if he does play Bond he'll grow on me like Craig has.

Well, if Craig really has not made up his mind yet BOND 25 is the last thing on his mind...

With all this work lined up, I can't see Craig coming back. Unless Bond 25 is postponed for a number of years. 007 Magazine and John Cox are trusted sources, and it's pointing in their direction all the time.

Just so. I'm fairly convinced that Craig is done for good.

You think Craig is contracted to only make his finale statement when EON premits it?

I think the transition/announcement will probably be seamless. Craig is done, here's our new man, and the movie is coming out [insert date here].

I think you are absolutely right but it doesn't really answer my question.

No need for a final statement. The elephant is right there in the living room, nobody really thinks it's part of the furniture.

How about;

Sheriff J.W. Pepper: [spits] Elephants! We're Democrats, Maybelle.

Better?

Sounds like a politically orientated Assault on Precinct 13 :)

OMG, this whole time I thought the quote was, "Elephants?  They're Democrats, Maybelle."  As in, J.W. Pepper was a proud Republican (which he WOULD be, nowadays, but I had forgotten that the Republican majority was in favor of the Civil Rights Amendment, and the party line for Democrats -- esp. "Dixiecrats" -- was opposed) and thought the Elephant was the symbol of the OTHER party, not his own, making him seem even more mixed-up and dumb.

Well, I guess I'm the goat.

Back to square one I guess...

I'm always surprised to see Jamie Bell on those lists, it is just that he is 5'7". Love his work though.

Remember this, there was another on the KLAST site but it seems the site is no longer up. :(

Yes. their information comes from this.

it's quotes from the time of Spectre's release last year, nothing new. Craig has not resurfaced at this time just to answer 3 questions for a TV listings mag.

I'm still fairly convinced that a certain screen test did indeed happen and about a month later an offer was made.

We just haven't been officially told about it yet.

I've also heard whispers as to who directed that screen test.

The sun now says the candatates for bond number 7 are Tom Hiddleston and Tom Hardy

Shrub my top four choices are Fassbender Hardy Hiddleston and Murphy is it one of those 4?

Can you share it with us or is it like section 26, paragraph 5. Need-to-know?

It would explain why Mendes was spotted with them. He's counted himself out of directing 25, but that doesn't mean he can't help out with the screen test.

The Sun often invents sources to fill pages, but now and then they're right. The Hardy rumour does seem to marry up with the Knight (scriptwriting) rumour - i can see Hardy bringing Knight into the mix.
