Sharp: The actor showcased his 007-style
Posted Image

With Daniel Craig having stepped into the shoes of 007 so smoothly, fans can't be blamed forgetting how suave his predecessor was.
But as Pierce Brosnan arrived on the set of his new film Remember Me, it was clear he still has the dashing charm that made him a sartorially successful James Bond.
Wearing his signature look - a well-cut suit and tasteful shirt and tie - the actor look relaxed and ready to get down to business in his latest role.
In his upcoming film, which is shooting in New York, the father-of-five - who played the famous secret agent until 2002 - has been cast as Twilight star, Robert Pattinson's, father.
A drama, Brosnan's latest project is about a pair of star-crossed lovers - Pattinson and Lost actress Ally Craig - who are brought together by family tragedy.
It is the actor's first foray back on the big screen since the overwhelming success of the musical Mamma Mia!
And despite being 56, the Irish star will be giving his younger co-star a run for his money in the heart-throb stakes, looking ten younger than his age as he chatted with crew members between takes.

looking 10 years younger than his age. He is 56. Does that mean he looks 46? I'm 41, so does that mean I'm going to look that old in 5 years?!?!?!

crap!

Agreed. The man is aging worse than Roger Moore.

Distance shots and dark lighting, he looks very good, it is the lit close ups where he really show his age (but still a very good looking man). He actually looks close to the same age as my 72 year old father.

If he dyed his hair, and went to the gym, with the right make up on, he could still be Bomd today, but the overall look and tone of Bond has changed and the story is a totally different beast to any of the Brosnan films or anything that was attempted before it. Brosnan was good though I do miss him, but 4 movies are quite a few.

There's no way he looks like he's in his 70s. I can't see that.

I strongly disagree! He looks great for his age! Look at other actors and you'll see the difference! Don't go any far! Look at Craig! In some scenes he looks 10 years older!

Anyway, he looks great! I still have to correct though, that he looks 5 years younger than his age!

He looks good, but imo he definately looks older than 56. Just by those photos I'd have guessed early 60's. Compare him to 65 year old Harrison Ford for example.

Those photos show my problem with PB.

Dont tell me he is playing yet anohtre smoothing goodlooking dapper sophisticate. I know Rog made a career out of it but PB is still in that square.

I never see him play anything different? If he played the Emporer of China or Sweeney Todd he'd still play them as urban goodlooking sophisticated.

Perfect for a lightweight Bond - but surely he should have progressed into character roles at his age. Dalton and Connery did.

They're publicity photos though, non? For a film in which he stars as the dad of some guy from Twilight. He's hardly going to show much grit there is he?

Well that's hardly a fair comparison. Ford ages way better than most folks.

Hmm he kinda looks his age nothing over it though. Ford hasn't aged that well either but he is nearly 70, especially since he's taken a liking to keep his hair silver. Brosnan should lose the tummy. Doesn't suit him well. Overall would be lucky if I looked like him at that age. B)

I did say he looks about the same age as my 72 year old father (but Pierce is better looking). This is true. What I forgot to add is that my father looks very young for his age.

As I mentioned earlier, with Pierce it usually depends on the lighting.

Wasnt Rog 56 in AVTAK? Granted that was in a movie after loads of makeup and other stuff was used to make him look "better." Yet he looked much better in that film than Brosnan does in these publicity shots.

If he aged this well minus the tummy he could have been in TLD. B)
