If they want to slowly bring gadgets into Bond's world I'd prefer it it be believable gadgets. The gadgets from Goldeneye were perfectly fine, which is to say I mean the exploding pen and the belt buckle that could grapple. I say we leave out the car though, it got tiring during the Brosnan era when he got a new gadget laden car every film.

I have to say I much prefer the absence of gadgets

I think they have still been in the movies, they just haven't been introduced by Q. Casino Royale featured the defibrilator in the car, Bond's impressive phone and his bug and ear piece which helped him follow Le Chiffre's movements.

QOS featured M's nifty hologram wall.

Yes, but I believe they were referring to things like laser wristwatches, invisible Aston Martins, and flying cars. Leastways that's what I think of when people say "gadgets".

You know, every villain has had a henchman. I'd like to see a villain who operates on his own. He may have partnerships and things, but no henchmen.

Believable equipment and gadgets and nothing way outlandish....

I want to see the Aston Martin One-77 and Moneypenny (why not Rose Byrne...). B)

This Aston Martin is a must for the next film!

16. Longer cuts.
17. More wide angles and less close ups.
18. Daniel Kleinmen as title sequence designer.

^^^^^Good suggestions....

I'm open to anyone designing the titles personaly. I don't think Klienman necessarily has to be the go to guy all the time. Sure he's good now, but down the road he could end up like Binder, knocking out uninspired title sequences that will end up feeling dated.

I want more variety than just Klienman, I felt Casion Royale was his best work, perhaps he should go out while on top.

I say give him one or two more shots. See if he can't trump his work on Royale.

At the risk of sounding sexist, I hope they leave out the whole 'female equal of Bond' idea, at least from a physical perspective anyway. Please leave the stunts and fight sequences to Mr. Craig! I'm all for the amusing intellectual quips, ala Bond and Vesper on the train to Montenegro, however.

The two locations at the top of my list that I would like to see revisited during Craig's run as Bond are the Swiss Alps and Japan. I'm thinking of (On Her Majesty's Secret Service & You Only Live Twice).

I'm hoping the last bond movie Craig does will be somewhat of a remake of O.H.M.S.S. I was reading the book and thinking how cool it was when Bond revisited the grave of Vesper. The fact that he eventually meets Tracy in Casino Royale would be an excellent way to bring everything full circle. If it is done properly, the ending itself would place it up there with Casino Royale.

Afganistan + Japan = A BIG NO

Maybe for Bond 24, only because Bond23 is going to be set in Afganistan.

I agree, that combination (Afghanistan + Japan) wouldn't work and I think the timing of my suggestion would work best with Bond 24. However, I hope Bond 23 doesn't just take place in Afghanistan. (I think it's a bit premature to validate whether this is the confirmed location for the film.) It would be nice if it focused on other exotic locales as well.

I doubt that BOND 23 will take place in Afghanistan. Unless I've missed some news since that was initially rumored, I believe that the whole Afghanistan setting for the next film was just a rumor, which is typical for the Bond films at this point during pre-production.

I agree. That "female equal of Bond" crap is getting old. Bring back the Honey Ryders.

I agree with getting rid of the equal to Bond thing with the chicks. No female I know wants to watch that. I don't know where the powers that be get the idea we do.

Let's face it... most women do not fantasise about being Wai Lin... they fantasise about being Nurse Fearing or Sylvia Trench. For strong Bond girls, we look to Tracy and Fiona... but those girls still weren't his buddy or equal.

This woman-must-be-equal-to-Bond thing in these films really ticks me off.
