Things you've noticed on Blu Ray.

Has anyone picked up on anything thing new, whilst watching the Blu Ray Bond movies.
For example, I noticed that Bond has a pattern on his blue dressing gown in Live and Let Die and I also picked up on how hairy Roger Moore's arms are. I've never really picked up on any of this, before Blu Ray.
Anyone got any other examples?

And I know this isn't Bond, but Michael Caine's nostril hairs are clearly visible at at least one point in THE DARK KNIGHT.

I've also realised that the Clinic at Los Organos is pretty run down, most notably when Bond enters with the wheelchair guy.

-That Boitier's family is in the funeral procession leaving the church, including little children. Not that that wasn't hard to see before, just I'd never really seen it until the Blu-ray.
-Also in the precredits, the Aston Martin was actually covered in dust blown by the jet pack. For years it always looked like discoloration from rust.
-A really small detail, when Bond enters Paula's room at their Nassau hotel that you can clearly see items of her clothing on the bed, particularly a pair of nylon stockings. Not a big deal, but shows what the power of Blu-ray can bring out.
-The tapestrys in the Whitehall conference room seem much more majestic when they move up to reveal the screens.
-The market area in Nassau and all the stalls in detail when Bond and his party arrive at Pinder's.
On Dr. No:
-The table settings in the dinner scene are much clearer.
-The boxes Bond throws Quarrel and Puss-Feller in are for Red Stripe Beer.

I think this deserves a thread of it's own, it has alot of potential.

In Dr.No, I swear you can now see Connery's thinning scalp in certain shots.
And Rog's FYEO cardigan has never looked lovelier.

Well worth the investment.
As M. would say - "Is that all it does?"

I gave Dr. No a whirl last night. brilliant. I agree yes, you can make out his thinning scalp.
Also, you can actually see the sweat pouring off Mr Jones face when he is cornered by Bond.
And Rog's FYEO cardigan has never looked lovelier.
I watched a bit of For Your Eyes Only, I'll give it a full watch when I have time. I have to say though that it is the weaker of the transfers, but there is a massive difference.

Absolutely agree. She is one of my favorite of the Bond girls and even more striking in HD.

I think she is stunningly beautiful as well, I was just making a joke based a conversation on a different thread.

Anyway, long story short I got it and put the Dr No UE DVD in first played the titles and stopped it at the three blind mice are walking over the gravel. I then popped the DR No Blu-Ray in and the difference is light and day. amazing! I could see the credit sequence with all the colors not bleeding into one and other. You can see the gravel in the road when the three blind mice men are walking on it. You can see the fabric in Bonds suit. One scene I could swear his has lipstick on. I am saving it till next weekend to really take it all in.

Thirdied. As for Domino's tear, I've noticed that since VHS.

I'm watching From Russia With Love now and I must say that it's great to see the actual fabric on the characters' clothes. The texture and pattern. It's brilliant.
Good to hear that you are having such a great experience with Blu-ray

Thanks for inventing it, Darren.
I wish...I would be a lot richer if I had come up with it.
I actually initially supported HD-DVD (as some on here might recall), but a friend of mine showed me the error of my ways and shortly after Blu-ray ended up winning the format war anyway.

This is probably me not paying any attention what so ever, but I'm positive I didn't pick up on this on the UE. In From Russia With Love, after Bond kills Grant, I've just noticed that Bond has a massive -off bloodstain on his hands after the fight! Very, VERY cool!
That was digitally added in for the BluRay release.

No it wasn't.
They used the same print as they used for the DVD Ultimate Editions, it's just that Blu-ray is high definition whereas the UE's were in standard definition.

When I watched Die Another Day on Blu-Ray, the part where he para-surfs on the glacier tidal wave thingy looked a bit fake.
LOL. That looks fake in any definition.
