The Fall Finale of Glee. A good episode, but one that, as the final episode before a three month hiatus, is a bit of a mixed bag. Certain key storylines either went by unresolved or very unsatisfactorily resolved, but hopefully they'll delve back into those when Season 1 resumes in April. Still, a great show and one that ranks right up there with Chuck as one of my absolute favorite television shows.
Last week's episode of Dexter. Regardless of what happens in the season finale, I think that this season will go down as my favorite of the series. They ought to just go ahead and hand John Lithgow an Emmy for his work this season. Absolutely brilliant, one of the best villains we've seen in a while.

The wait until Feb. 2 is becoming quite unbearable.

Series 1 - Episode 3: Curious Goerge
Series 1 - Episode 4: Reapercussions
Two of my favourite episodes.

Not the spin-off, but the original. It was a wonderfully done Christmas episode tonight. I'm very quickly becoming a huge fan of this show (I just started watching it regularly this month).

I saw a male's forward extremity as well. I think it would have been a good opportunity to showcase all of those dormant Threes, Sixes, and Eights in more detail myself.
That's one thing I missed in THE PLAN, Number Three. I guess Lawless didn't wanna be in it, so we missed seeing all the behind the scenes stuff about her mission in Season 2.
Oh yeah, I Netflixed STARSHIP TROOPERS 3 just out of curiosity. We'll see how that fares.

At first I thought - oh, boy, another procedural with a team, mixing it with "Ocean´s 11"-type heist stories.
But...
IT´S FANTASTIC! Great, inventive stories full of drama AND humour. Twists and turns galore. The always reliable Timothy Hutton leads a perfect ensemble.
For me, LEVERAGE is the sleeper hit series of the year. Did not think it would be any good and was surprised how magnificent it reall is.
Check it out!

Glad you like this one. I read a report recently about how the show has truly evolved through the years. And it has. The character of Dinozo, initially, repulsed me. But the actor's grown into the part and fleshed the character out admirably. In fact, thought he spinoff's still worth a watch, where it still falls short for me is the lack of the camaraderie between compelling, unusual characters.

That was fast. Any chance of reviewing the episodes when MI6 is back up?Star Trek: Enterprise. A hit and miss series, but Season 4 is brilliant. I have five episodes left until I'm done. I just wish there had been a Season 5, 6, and 7.

I didn't give them any 1-5's. I certainly have enjoyed Season 4 too much for that. I'll do a big to-do when MI6 gets it's katra back. Highlight, of Season 4? The Vulcan Arch. Especially "Awakening". I thought "Storm Front, Part I" was amazing too. The jump in quality of the dialogue (and the show overall) is enormous. The guest stars in that episode are pretty great as well.
Season 3 is pretty fun, mostly in the last episodes. The whole thing is a much better ride than nuTrek. Better characters, better story, more brain cells.
Loved seeing Jeffrey Combs and his second kickboxing blue bitch.

I love this scene, at 6 minutes. "She made... an overture..." had me laughing out loud. I almost never do that.

i.e. season four.
Why doesn't David E Kelley write for cable, so he can end a show once he runs out of ideas? (Or not conform for commercial reasons) Helen Gamble was a compelling character before she started committing prosecutorial misconduct every week. And Rebecca was neutured once she became a lawyer.
And McDermott is just annoying.
In case you didn't guess, it stank.
Friday Night Lights
Only started watching it this season, but it's pretty good. Compelling without being preachy or artificial. Really well acted, too.

Episode: A Question Of Blood
Rebus is called in to investigate a shooting at a private school. One for Doctor who fans, companion in waiting, Karen Gillan appears throught.

Picked this up for £5 the other week, absolute bargain. I'd never seen it before but was pleasantly surprised. It's a 13 episode series (I've seen 8/13) about a bent LA cop and the rest of his department. Very raw and also very funny. Great stuff.
