Has this happened already?
And if so, is there another one being scheduled?

Hey that's cool. I love Gozo. I never miss spending a week there in Summer during the Santa Marija feast. It's great and the restaurants are fabulous. Some great diving spots. I stay in Xlendi mostly. Love it there and I can climb those beautiful valley cliffs. Hope you enjoy it Pete.

You know, someday, some way, we should all consider one HUGE international meet up.
It would need a good year of advance notice, but wouldn't it be wild?
Although I doubt we could find a pub large enough to handle us all.
Bryce, what a genius you are for starting this thread, forgive me for sounding like a slight pessimist, but i take it that much never came of this?
Yes i know my post has come about 8 years too late since this was started, but if anyone else wanted to organise a James Bond fan adventure in London, then I'd be happy to contribute to ideas etc.
To be honest I wouldn't care if it was 5 of us or 500 of us, it would be awesome
plus i know London like the back of my hand
cheers

A project team has already been fielded to arrange for a "James Bond Weekend" in conjunction with the "Bond Watches, James Bond Watches" exhibit in Columbia, Pennsylvania. That's where the National Watch & Clock Museum is located. Tentative scheduling is for this coming fall (the exhibit itself runs June 18, 2010, through April 30, 2011).
As Bryce has paid his dues in starting this Thread, it makes sense to me that he be given first right of refusal to act as CBn interface on this - if desired.

Bryce, what a genius you are for starting this thread,
Goodnight: Would I really do this to you after eight years?
P.S. Don't get yourself locked in a boot.

Okay, here's what we have so far (but not yet for "public" release)--...and where would this be?
The National Watch & Clock Museum will be putting on a special "Bond Weekend" in conjunction with the "Bond Watches, James Bond Watches" exhibition. It's located in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania; again, the weekend of September 10, with a pretty full agenda running Friday evening through Saturday evening.
Without going too far out on a limb here, anticipate a good deal of "James Bond lifestyle" content. Prepare to indulge your "competitive" side as well.
We've also made an effort to really try and strike a balance between serving the interests of the Ian Fleming and Eon Productions sides of what attracts folks to the 007 character.
More details to come!

Having certainly done my share of Bond events myself, I know it's no easy chore.
Go for it by all means.
