I don't see the need for yet another alternative Bond movie. It's bound to be a lot of trouble ending in a disappointing result.
I'm totally fine with the official series with a Bond movie coming out every two or three years.

If this story IS true, then maybe this might be why we will get Bond23 in 2011, simply because EON do not want to go head to head with a rival Bond film, even if it is another remake of THUNDERBALL.
My guess is that if this film is made, O`Casey will try to get Brosnan back as Bond. The question is, would he do it? Possibly. If nothing else, it would be one in the eye for Broccoli and Wilson, simply because Brosnan wanted a fifth Bond to his name, and never got it.
And as bad as this remake of a remake might be, could it be any worse than NEVER SAY NEVER AGAIN?
