I thought the desert setting for the finale was very stylish. A uber modern hotel smack in the middle of the desert. It kind reminded me of the crazy lairs previous Bond villains had in the past, without taking it to too far, or, I should say, to a science-fiction like degree.
I didn't eat up all that talk about the desert being an analogy to Bond's state of mind. It's the villain's hideaway, it's not like Bond chooses to go there. Regardless, I liked it a lot.

Uh... I don't know. I did like it. It added a great sense of style I felt. Heck, just thinking about it makes me want to see the movie again.

Regardless, I love the concept and how it's executed; it seems to bring the villainy of Bond villains past up to date. I think Fleming would be proud.
