Yes, but while the use of CGI is a necessary step, bad CGI does not make a movie modern. If anything, it ages it.Sure there was a lot of CGI, but that was because the movie wanted (and needed) to keep modern.. accept it people, the 70's and 80's are over.

I think Die Another Day is half a decent movie

I thoroughly enjoyed Brosnan's tenure. Now, having said that, heres the problem. I agree that the main problem with DAD is in the form of Halle Berry. Now I know that they were wanting to have the bikini thing as an homage to Dr. No, but to me, it came out as "Look folks, it's Halle Berry" and then there was supposed to be a guy in the theatre holding up a placard that says "Thunderous applause"

I agree. At the time of Die Another Day, there was much better CGI used in movies. Yeah, he looked remarkably like the guy from Shrek that was doing it.
