Just because he said in two years time they'll do another doesnt mean they'll release it in 2010. They could start on it in 2010 and have it out by 2011.

Or filming could start in 2010 and still be released in 2010. 2 year gaps aren't the problem. The problem QoS faced were, the writer's strike, incomplete script, shooting with an incomplete script and late casting decisions. QoS turned out ok but it was rushed and didn't have the time and care it needed to be as good as it could/should have been. With Bond 23, it won't suffer the same calamities QoS did. Use 2009 to to write and sort out the script as well as casting and other logistics and then use 2010 to commence principle photography.
