Good news for Felix fans after this confrmation from the producer himself and the actor, it looks like Wright may end up in Bond 23,

With this news, my prediction for the release will be June 10, 2011. Just a random shot in the dark, but to fit it into Mr. Wilson's plan. Definitly prefer a summer date over the winter, even that means waiting longer.

He won't have aged noticeably more than he would in two years, surely? I'm expecting a summer release for the next one(something they've been trying to get back to for some time) so really it's only little more than an extra six months and as much as I've enjoyed QOS, it wouldn't have killed me to wait till (say) June next year to see it.

In interviews, Craig has said he's signed for four Bond movies. I see no evidence to suggest Quantum of Solace's follow-up will be Craig's swansong.

Maybe if QoS does really well they'll get one out in 2 years, but I'd rather them take the time to craft a strong story rather than rush another one out just to turn a profit.

I don't think that has any bearing on it; with no real pre-production date set (and throwing ideas about about with the writers doesn't really count), I can't honestly see the next film being out in late 2010.

We'll probably be waiting longer in between drinks for Bond 23 than we did for Bond 22. I think they want a well deserved rest.

If they can craft a solid story, cast an impressive bunch of characters and continue to shake up the system, I'm willing to wait.

If this proves accurate, I think Craig will stop at three, with a very slim chance of a fourth.

Anyway, I hope it's 2.5 instead of 3, not just because it'd be closer but because I'm curious to see how Bond would fare in summer. Of course, I hope it's 2 instead of either 2.5 or 3.

Well if the 2011 date is a target, that most likely means they will MISS the 50th anniversary of the franchise. That is such a milestone too, half a century. They also missed a golden opportunity to release a film in 2007. I could have imagined the marketing campaign behind that. Oh well
