How, can anyone explain how M's office can change in one day too (it's supposed to happen a short while after CR).

My guess is, that it was just some sort of a operation control room, with a desk set for M. An office away from her usual office.

In any case, it didn't bug me a one bit. Even though when I saw the trailers, this was one was one of the biggest how/when deals I had regarding this movie.

Actually, after Mitchell kills the other guy, and attacks Bond. We see 007 look to see if M is ok, as he is scanning to room it cuts to a long shot of M running up some steps to safety.

Speaking of M, I've seen some confused about why she doesn't show any sign later in the film that she was shot during that scene. The reason being, because she wasn't shot. Bond knocks her out of the way. Mitchell's two shots go into the other MI6 guy and Mr. White's shoulder.
