I prefer QOS to CR.

It's in my Top Three. Or I'll be very surprised if it isn't. The only thing that stopped me putting it as Number 1 is I need to see it stand the test of time.

I gave it a 9. But I hovered over 10 for a very long time. Again, the only reason I didn't give it a 10 was because I believe in keeping something in abeyance.

In summary - most people like it the same as CR. Most people have it in their top 3. And most people have given it an 8. So far.

I rate it 8/10. For the moment, I love CR and QoS equally, let's see how it settles. As for the ranking in relation to all Bond films, it's clearly in the top list for me, but to be more precise I voted "too early".

Quantum of Solace and Casino Royale are my joint 3rd fave BOND films ( Living Daylights and Goldfinger comming before them )
I gave it 8.5 out of 10 ( but rounded up is 9/10 )

I seriously disliked it and I wouldn't say I'm an 'uptight' Bond fan. For example I love Casino Royale and still enjoy Die Another Day, or the first two thirds of it. I have no problem with the filmmakers tring different things with Bond. But Quantum Of Solace is often just plain inept in my opinion.

Quantum is a radically different interpretation of Bond on screen, and just now we can only speculate how it’s going to influence the future direction of the series. This isn’t a switch your brain off action movie. If you’re not paying attention, Quantum takes off without you. I don’t think there’s been a Bond before that demanded as much from its audience. So Casino is always going to be the easier film to like. It safer in many ways; more traditional.

As with OHMSS before it, Quantum may have to wait to be appreciated. But it’s time will come.
