That shot of Craig pointing the gun at the camera is fantastic. I hope that's in the film. There are a lot of great shots in QOS. The trailer didn't excite me like I thought it would but I have a wonderful feeling about this film. Can't wait.

It won't be in the film. Bond is pretty much staring at the camera, which means he's making eye contact with the audiences, which is a no-no.

While I agree it is most likely not from the film, the shot could be from the perspective of whoever Bond is pointing the gun at, in which case it would make sense for Bond to look at the camera.

Like Dalton did in TLD when he shoots the spotlight. I think he was looking at us when he swings his arm around?

True enough, but there is that bit in the trailer where whassface Fields walks upstairs staring at the camera, so perhaps this is a directorial tic?

Although I suspect the Bond one is just a publicity photo.

And you have to remember as well that the photo of Craig pointing the gun @ the camera may just be pointed at the set photographer and not at the actual filming camera. So that "shot" could indeed me in the film, just at a slightly different angle.

Because the very few fan films I have bothered to watch parts of usually involve the person playing Bond pointing a gun at a camera like that in an effort to appear badass.
