Sir Brosnan has also played gay. I think this bloke's taking the piss out of us.

When did this? How did Sir Brosnan show a scene of this?

The Matador, if I'm not mistaken.

Roger Moore was gay in some awful comedy on a boat.

George Lazenby's career wasn't quite long enough, but he did to plenty of soft-pørn.

Connery played a dragon once. Awful. Ruined his Bond films for me forever.

Forgot about Dalton. I'm sure he's played gay in something, most likely on stage.

Yes but all after Bond, no?
And no scenes of piss as Santa said.

I think what Santa is trying to say is that you are deliberatly setting out to piss other CBn members off. I'm very tempted to report you, stop spamming CBn with garbage.

No, not quite. It's amazing how many uses there are for the word 'piss'. I had no idea.

We're pissing ourselves or getting pissed at the guy taking the piss (which pissed of Pierce who was looking forward to his golden shower).

I do not think Heath Ledger should play Bond either - no-one will have the understanding since he has played bad Jowker in The Dark Knight. We have only just changed Bond and we ken not kept for changing him.

I assume you know that Heath Ledger is, in fact, dead?

He must be winding us up guys. I don't buy the overly poor written English.

Sir Brosnan playing Gay.

Back in 2006, I can actually remember reading something which said that Brosnan actually questioned his sexuality when he was a teenager, from what I remember he was Bisexual for sometime in his life.

Fair enough.
I think I was quoted above about acting choices. He has played villains and Gay characters in the past I think. I recently saw Seraphim falls, where he plays a Villain of Sorts and a hunted man, not hesitating to kill people, but in the end his character was not all bad. As with Heath Ledger, the performances and characters that they will be remembered for will probably be James Bond and The Joker.
Back to Heath, he was a great actor. And was great as the Joker in The Dark Knight. As was his performance as Ennis Del Mar.

Yeah I've assumed for a while that he's doing a Borat-like routine on us. His English is almost "perfectly wrong"

Correction, his Engelische is perfectly wrong.

Plus I dont care if he is winding us up, because tbf, whenever he posts garbage, It makes me appreciate Bond more and more everytime. I have no problem with quoting his every post and proving him wrong.

I have much offenses taken by you instulting my Engelisches. I have lived in the Engeland you now. Nobody has to me said my laughguage is bad. I have much sorrification. Is not fair, no?

Anyway, back to topik. I think Heath may have been the good Bond if he had lived but was not to be.

But he's doing a routine. If you look at his posting history, he was pretty articulate in his early days :

http://debrief.comma...p...;hl=&st=200

One of his first posts :

"Hello, my name Milli and I am from Mnchen, Germany originally but now I work in London as a Finance Controller to a large company. I am 28 years of age.

I have been interested in James Bond from Goldeneye and am a big fan of Pierce Brosnan. I have read all the Ian Fleming novels and the others too. My favourite Bond film is The Spy Who Loved Me and I think Roger Moore is underrated as 007.

I was introduced to this website by a friend. I have only posted on political websites before. This is a very well designed site.

Thank you for having me here."

And now he's writing things like :

"I have much sorrification for you to have to wait until Jan 2009 for to see Quatum Of Soulace."

"I have much offenses taken by you instulting my Engelisches. I have lived in the Engeland you now. Nobody has to me said my laughguage is bad. I have much sorrification. Is not fair, no?"

So, much sorrification, Mercator, but the game is up.

He couldn't be for the same reason that Hugh Jackman couldnt have been after X-Men.

It's tough to be several icons at once.

That said, Ledger was a decent actor and he really surprised me with Joker but I would have never pictured him as Bond.

I agree. Even before TDK he was already in a lot of well known movies like "10 things I hate about you" or "the Patriot".

What is the problem with an actor taking on controversial roles?

If you want a crap typecast actor, then why not throw your weight behind some goon like vinnie jones or jason staham?
