Just went to a Gamestop Retailer and on the "coming soon" list, I saw the Quantum Of Solace game will be made for ps2 and released in the United States on October 28.

Just went to a Gamestop Retailer and on the "coming soon" list, I saw the Quantum Of Solace game will be made for ps2 and released in the United States on October 28.

Gamestop is typically a horrible source for release dates. One could assume October 28th or November 4th though. Tie-ins are usually released a few days ahead of the movie and since it's being released on October 31st in the UK the 28th might be the most logical date.

He sounds the part, too, since Craig is doing all of his own voicework for the game.

If true, yay. Authentic voice acting really adds to the experience.

This game is looking great. It's also nice to hear Craig will be providing the voice. As Mr Teddy Bear stated, having authentic voices always adds to the gaming experience.

Gotta say, I'm disappointed by the 'Simple Simon' fast-reaction button push sections. Hated 'em in Spider-Man 3, too. They make make for nice visuals, cool trailer moments, but the 'skill' required - and the sense of achievement you get - is minimal.

Still, the rest looks good. Real actor performances/likenesses always help, and it's a great idea to combine two movies together.

True, but I'm sure they could take the necessary liberties to make some stuff more akin to a video game.

I could even see it as a bonus feature but alas that is just my 2 cents worth.

Though we saw a good variety in combat, stealth and action, Treyarch is being careful not to bite off more than it can chew. The team stressed the importance nailing the gameplay. Rather than including everything, but not perfecting anything, the team is focusing on what it sees as the strengths. That means no driving levels, despite the Bond affinity for fast cars, and no poker level. - IGN

This is exactly what I told you guys earlier. I wouldn't get to upset anyway considering next year we'll likely be getting a driving Bond game. I could do without the poker. I have a friend and a deck of cards and there are other video games out there that can do the poker much better. Besides I already know who wins and I don't think taking an hour out of my shooting schedule to play a game of cards is really a good idea. I buy shooters to shoot the hell out of things
