A bit late, but the main cinematic trailer for ANGELS & DEMONS can be found here or here. I've also read that the character Carlo Ventresca from the novel has been renamed Patrick McKenna (as played by Ewan McGregor).
It's not as powerful as the teaser trailer unfortunately (I wish it packed the same punch), but I'm nonetheless eagerly anticipating this one. Bring it on.

Looks almost like a remake of The DaVinci Code, but without an interesting female sidekick.
I think I'll wait until it's on TV about two years from now.

For those excited about Angels & Demons, the final theatrical one-sheet is out. I like it! Much better than the Da Vinci Code one-sheet.
Oh, and Columbia have released a new video for the film highlighting Hans Zimmer's score, which is sounding terrific. I've linked to it on my blog.

Thanks for posting that, [dark]!If anyone missed the news, it was announced today that Dan Brown's follow-up to The Da Vinci Code - The Lost Symbol - will be published this September. Apparently, the novel will take place over a 12 hour period, but that's the only indication the press release gives as to the book's content.

Fantastic news, [dark]! Been wondering if that third novel was ever going to be announced.
I'm not absolutely in love with the one-sheet they went with, but I'll agree that it is definitely way better than that for Da Vinci.

Sounding good to me. The book was so much more enjoyable than Da Vinci, so I'm really hoping the film will be as well.
This actually does sound promising.

As for The Lost Symbol, lookijng quite forward to red it, although the title seems overly bland.
Haven't read Angels & Demons, but I do have a feeling that it might work better as a movie. Probably.

I really hated Da Vinci code. Not b/c it was bashing the church, etc. The church is just a political institution. Therefore it's corrupted beyond words. Everything Brown wrote on that book I had read eons ago. There are so many theories on that topic......The book was no grabber. I thought I was reading old news/theories entwined within a lame story. The movie itself was even worst. Really dull.
I read it as I read any other airport/beach thriller. Sure, the subject matter was approached before, but I do think that the way Brown did it was quite solid. The structure is darn good, which is where most of these adventurous books tend to fail. Many times in these types of books, there are entire sections where one can re-arrange their order and the plot development remains the same. Didn't find that flaw here.
I do wonder what will the next type of plot be. Da Vinci being a cerebral version of Indy of sorts and A & D being a bit like a cerebral version of Bond and/or 24.
On bashing the church, quite honestly, I didn't think it bashed it enough, quite the opposite.

Personally, I think it's a little short. There's only a few songs, whereas QoS had about 20+ songs.

The reviews I've seen so far agree: better than TDC...but lamebrained and dumbscripted. What killed any interest I had in seeing A&D is the concluding sentence of a local review: "When you see you Tom Hanks running through catacombs with a flashlight in hand, you half expect to see Nic Cage coming the other way."
Oh, dear.
That pretty much sums up why I am skipping this and seeing Star Trek again this weekend. Plus the one review I have respect for, James Berardinelli from Reelviews.net, gave it 1&1/2 out of 4 stars and he actually said that this film makes The Da Vinci Code look good and I tend to agree with most of his reviews so I am sure its pretty bad.

Edit: literally have taken a rain check, as it has been deemed too wet to go to the cinema. Boo. It will have to wait for another day.

Will be checking this out tonight. Shame that the reviews are only marginally positive.
I'm still hopeful.
I look forward to hearing your views, Qwerty. I'm going to see this with the girlfriend tomorrow, I can't wait! First time I've been to the cinema since Quantum of Solace, If I remember correctly.
EDIT: No! I saw My Bloody Valentime in Febuary.
