I finally got around to watching The Final Break. Good thing Netflix doesn't ask for discs back after a certain amount of time has passed.

The final episode that aired in the US was Killing Your Number. Towards the end of that episode, there is a four year flash forward that explains how everything turned out. The Final Break would fit in right before that flash forward. It is a must watch because it ties-up the loose ends with all of the characters & adds much more depth to the flash forward segment.
I'll spoiler tag this for those who haven't seen episode yet:
While they should have given the series a proper ending in the US, I'm sort of glad they ended it the way they did. I'm also glad I procrastinated in watching this final episode. It was a nice flashback into the series & the characters that I had so much fun watching for those four short years.

Great preview for Breakout Kings. I haven't watched the series yet but that episode looks like it has potential.
This ep is on tonight! There have only been two episodes so far, but it seems to be pretty fun. It's from two of the producers of Prison Break so it definitely feels like its in the same universe. Be interesting to see if ol' Teddy gets a "final" ending.

All right, help me out here! I've been away for a while on a writing sabbatical...and come back to learn about this show that, according to Google, had an episode featuring Teddy? Ay-yayyyy, as they say South of the border. Has the season ended? I see 13 episodes listed on Google and the show sounds worth a look for sure...but when I did a search on my DVR/TiVo, I found nothing.
Any tips or further info?

Yes, Breakout Kings just ended its first season, last week! In a nutshell, it's a show from two of the producers of Prison Break where a group of cons are enlisted to catch other escaped cons, each week they have to catch someone new. And yes, T-Bag guest starred as one of said cons.

Thanks, dino. Too bad Fox passed on it...as well as on Santora's other proposed project--a takeoff on PB starring female cons. One critic, I see, has suggested that Fox passed because TBK lacks PB's go-for-broke spirit. But I remember, with a bummed-out smile, the relentless trashing of PB by USA Today for pretty much that same spirit. I'll look forward to TBK as a variation on a theme, not a direct take.
