Woah!

Is it just me or does that outfit remind you a little of Bond's golf attire in On Her Majesty's Secret Service?

Are those Persol 2862S sunglasses? They look a lot retro. He really looks like Steve Mcqueen on that second photo.

Well, I guess it reminds me how Bond can look good in casual and stylish clothing like he did in OHMSS and CR  But now that I think of it, I never liked that orange turtleneck. It actually reminds me more of the clothes Dalton had.

Didn't Steve Mcqueens wife want Craig to star in the lead role of a remake of the Great Escape?

Damn. Craig's looking cool as ice. I love the look they've given his Bond. That snazzy casual attire is so Bondian, so retro, and so contemporary at the same time.

Aaaah, at last. I like it, it's similar to his clothing in the Bahamas where he meets M, only with jacket. Perhaps he has the jacket here because he is strapped underneath? Unlike in CR where he used a waistband holster tucked in the back.

His hair definitely looks darker, even here in full bright sunlight it looks darker.

Was it a remake of TGE? Or was it a biopic about McQueen? No sure, but Craig would be fine, even his american accent sounds like McQueen

So it's winter in that location. It was winter in the London scene with Dench (the one they filmed in January)...but does it get cool in Haiti in winter? And...isn't it summer in the southern hemisphere (I assume Bolivia is in the southern hemisphere) when its winter in the northern?

I'm confused as to why he's wearing what looks like a heavier bomber jacket in a tropical location...unless it's several months after the wintery/snowy meeting with M in London.

Also...that car could be a production vehicle with crew and sound equipment as opposed to a car/suv/mini-van which actually shows up on film.

Actually looks like a pretty lightweight jacket to my eyes...

If the scene is intended to be set in Bolivia (or even Chile or maybe Peru), the setting is likely to be high up in the Andes. Therefore even if it is set in summer, it could get pretty chilly, with need for the wearing of a jacket.

Not exactly. Up in the Andes around there you only tend to get two seasons, the wet and the dry, but neither are that dramatic. At any time of year it can be pleasantly warm in the day while very cold at night. The lower areas are warmer and more humid. So there's not really any way of telling what time of year it is there from how Dan looks in these pictures.
And I'm afraid I have to be the bad apple in the barrel - I don't like these pics. The trousers don't have a nice fit on him and the outfit looks a bit naff to me - like something Pierce would wear trying to be 'cool'. Sorry.
