Dear me, interesting speculation guys but that's not happening. Even if it were they wouldn't show a clip of possibly the most shattering scene in Bond history on a featurette right at the start of shooting the new film.

Bond has clearly just done something very against the rules/code of conduct, that's all.

Having Judi Dench's M become a villain would be the stupidiest move in the history of the series. It would destroy the goodwill she earned over the years and taint her performances in the Brosnan films.

Now I wouldn't mind seeing an evil M but only as a one time villain. The villain pulls strings in the British goverment and has Judi Dench's M fired/removed and he takes over her position. Bond knows something is up and tries to prove his new boss is behind it all.
