Bryan "The Pervert" Herbert joined here multiple times under several different variations of "terps" so this is undoubtedly him. Good detective work, Harkin!

It's against the CommanderBond.net Forums policy for a formerly banned member (troll in Bryan's case) to create another username.

first off, that doesn't prove that i am this guy. Secondly that kid emailed me asking for the links to the goldeneye wii soundtrack. So me being a nice guy, i gave him the links. Maybe he is trying to give other people the soundtrack as well by putting it up on some sites.

i don't see where my ip is given on this site, and if people can see it on this site, I'm pretty sure that's invading my privacy and also illegal, and i would most likely file a suit.

I agree - Bryan's one of the most entertaining guys on here. I used to think he was a wind up merchant - nobody could really be that thick - but I now think he's the real deal. I will follow Bryan over oceans of time. And I dig QuantumofSolace007 too. Be thankful these guys are alive and healthy. The Spartans would have thrown them off a cliff at birth. Carry on gentlemen, I love you for just being you.

I recall Matt here asked him for a "rare" Bond song, and Bryan sent him a song Matt already had. I faced a similar situation: I've asked for Pat Appleton's Goldeneye cover and that song was on an album called Mister Bond. Leaving that behind, the song was new to me, so I have nothing against Mr Herbert.

Just to get back OT, I have a version of GoldenEye 007 thats complete, and in much higher quality than any other rip ("It is on mp3 128 kbps it doesn't require a higher bitrate either" - sorry but it does). It was quite a long project and I had help from Graeme Norgate in its creaton, both in mixing and sequencing the music and insomuch as he provided some great linear notes for my custom artwork. Its mastered from 24-bit elements, declipped, dehissed, etc. and encoded in FLAC. Great sound quality and no frequency cut off either (which you would get with 128kbps, not to mention many other ugly sound artefacts).

Sorry Gav, are we talking about the Wii version again?

I'm still looking for the Bloodstone and Goldeneye Wii soundtracks if anyone has any news on search developments.

EDIT: On that note, I've just found the Bloodstone soundtrack through a slightly painstaking process of downloading and converting YouTube videos. Not absolutely optimal quality, but they're pretty damn good.

No, its the original GoldenEye 007 from N64, not GoldenEye Wii.

What inspired you to re-do the Veca themes?

Thanks again!

Well.. I recently re-listened to Vecas work on TWINE and liked what I heard. In fact, the music still sounds PRETTY good for its age.. but with modern sample libraries being what they are these days I thought it'd be fun to do a more realistic re-recording of it. Besides... the rips I've heard were in mono.

It's also an interesting score because it's 100% devoid of the James Bond Theme. This is because, from what I've heard anyway, EA didn't want to front the money for the rights.

More to come soon!

Thanks!

Probably not... though I might feel inclined to add a new version of a couple more obscure cues from various much older bond games as bonus tracks to this album. Most likely the menu music from The Stealth Affair and Wave Trouble from The Duel. We'll see!

You HAVE to do Wave Trouble from The Duel :D, you may also think about end credits from Licence To Kill videogame (). Hey, take something from GoldenEye, the OST was great!
