No need to have a rant at me.

What rant? I was merely expressing an opinion. If I'd typed 20 lines filled with caps and exclamation marks, I would probably call that a rant. Everyone's entitled to their opinions :)

I thought this thread was about 'video game music', or are we not allowed to mention the Goldeneye cover because it appears I have offended because I said I liked it. :/

Back on track, does anyone like that sick Paul Oakenfold remix of If you're gonna by Natasha Bedingfield? I think it is on the Goldeneye Rogue Agent game.

Yet again not on itunes, :( I used to have it on cd but accidently snapped it. :(

Do you have the ability to rip from the game CD? You could try that.

I will give it a go but it will probably be an epic fail. I hate computers.

I will definitely give it go, thanks for the advice :D

If I'm not mistaken, the new Goldeneye score IS David Arnold is it not? I thought I saw that in the credits.

He provided the themes, but he did not score the actual game. That was left to another composer. Richard Jacques' score is outstanding.

I'm pretty sure Arnold scored the entire GoldenEye game. Richard Jacques scored Blood Stone.

No, Matt's right. The opening credits of the game even state that Arnold only did the themes.

Surprisingly i haven't yet seen a gamerip of GoldenEye Wii or Blood Stone. Usually rippers are competing with who can release the most complete version of a game. I only stumbled upon a 24 Track "webrip" of Bloodstone. I'll keep my eyes open for PS3, Xbox and PC gamerips in the future.

Just started playing the ps2 version of quantum of solace - in my opinion it's much better than the 'other' version of the game.

Sounds like the music is totally different to - and in my opinion, much better also.

Tried to look for the music online and can't find it - is the ps2 QoS soundtrack anywhere online?

All console versions have the same music, I believe. Thered be no reason to have different scores for different versions!

Normally I would agree.

But the ps2 version of QoS is an *entirely* different game. Completely separate from the wii/ps3/360/pc version.

There's a specific rendition of the james bond theme that plays a lot in the ps2 qos game - and i'm certain it wasn't in the 'other' QoS game.

I never realized that there was a PS2 version either. I guess I keep thinking that someday developers are just going to retire that system. I was looking through my soundtracks and noticed that I do have a folder called Quantum of Solace (PS2)(MUSX), which is a gamerip from the PS2 version. However no winamp plugin exists yet that can play MUSX files. Not sure why i held onto it.

Hey again, the only thing holding me back is that the file type is "Musx" and idk how to convert them to mp3's, if someone knows of some sort of software that handles that kind of file format, please let me know, so that i can upload them for you guys.

Never heard of that format... Its most likely something proprietary the developer came up with. Probably as a defense against rippers ;)

I wouldnt mind hearing this score, maybe theres another way to rip?

i have already ripped it but that format is used for the audio and sound files, which makes me a very unhappy man! I can play them at least but i just can't find any software to convert it. To everyone out there that comes across this, the format is "Musx.", so if anyone comes across some sort of software, please notify me. Thanks Rich.
