I was very much against the concept of reading a book via a device like Kindle. One was given to me as a gift last year. A few weeks ago I found it again and decided to try it out. Now I can't put it down. I am now an official convert. I like it. It travels easy. Three books read in just the last couple of weeks. I also ordered a nice cover for it.

I've been reading ebooks since I got my Kindle 2 & love it. The ironic part now is that I buy Kindle books but read them on my iPad with the Kindle app. That is what Amazon has really hit home with. Buy the book & read it on just about any device that you have. Rumor is that Amazon is making a Kindle tablet device to compete with the iPad. Time will tell if it ever comes out but the ever dropping cost of the Kindle has helped make it a huge success whereas a tablet will have a much higher price tag & be a harder sell to the average person. I could see Kindle becoming more of the book format versus a device to read the book.
The first physical book I'm reading in over a year is Carte Blanche. I've become used to the convenience of the ebook but still buy physical copies of those books that I want to have lined-up on the shelf.
