Flight is booked. Part of the infiltration and exfiltration have been arranged and the remaining portion is nearly set. Just need to get the registration in progress and book the room.

This year, my wife will be making the trip with me. I am looking forward to seeing how she takes to the MP5. :( She may just like it enough to insist that we move to a state where selective fire arms can be purchased (Connecticut banned them in 1994, though you can still buy full auto only - weird, yes?).

I want to book the flight, but can't get an answer from the wife on whether she plans to attend this year or not.

I assume the lovely Mrs Jaguar will be there again?

she had so much fun last year that she wouldn't miss it for the world...or maybe she wouldn't let me attend it without her to keep an eye on me...

I'll be sure to let her know there will be activities for the ladies. Some may have enjoyed the gun range but she wasn't one of them!

There is also the issue of a babysitter for that amount of time; mini-agents can be a handful. Last year there was a situation involving the oldest' out-of-state boyfriend appearing without permission the day we left. The niece that was trying to handle that probably won't come back for more!

Regardless - I'm ready to book a flight, so time to figure out the answer!

Mrs. Jaguar will certainly not be at the gun range, but I will make a point of not being late this year.

Apologies to all for being a bit MIA - Nasty little touch of whatever latest bug is circulating in LA (has to be those SMERSH time-share bastards slipping tainted blended scotch into my Glenlivet) these days - but I'm up and about and just feeling like a bad case of jet-lag washed over me. Hence, at present, it's nearly 2am, but I can't sleep.

Yes, the crew is meeting up this next week and there will be something just for the ladies. As to registering, PM me and I can give you info. Again, this years cost will be somewhat higher, but it will cover the bases. Also, the hotel should (I don't have confirmation yet, but soon) have us on the books.

Also, I've yet to hear from Miss B on her travels and updating the site, but that should happen soon. From the talks prior to our planned sit down with "Axworthy's 13" I must give high praise to both Agent Leiter and Dr. Warmflash in their idea's and plotting of this next adventure for all of us.

As to those returning once again, I look forward to it. For those contemplating attending, PLEASE join us. As we've been happily told by all those we've done business with in Vegas and those that have attended "Nobody Does it Better".

We're trying to both continue and improve on that rating.

Thank you to all that have dared before and may dare to join us.

Amongst many other catch phrases and motto's that these events have put forth - and my own fond history with Las Vegas - there is one that I've shared with Agent Leiter each and everytime we've stepped out on the town decked out for the evening.

"We own it." - Not a boast. Just a statement of fact.

No...

"You know the rest."

Details to follow. Sec. 26. Para. 5

Lastly, not trying to tease, but ideas and notions for DTBB4 have been and are being put forth.

"I may just retire to here."

and remember the newest additional advice/law.

Hmm... isn't "tainted" and "blended scotch" redundant? In any event, how dare they sully your Glenlivet!

The only way to be any "later" would require the reference as the Late Mr Jaguar007.

Which, BTW, is what happens to scotch-tainting time-share SMERSH [censored]s.

Mazda 6 or Ford Mustang.... decisions, decisions, decisions...

Joyce offers sage advice.

Nothing confirmed, but I believe you can all expect to see the reunion/return of Joyce, John and Matt yet again.

Waitress: "What kind of spies are you?"

Joyce: "We're not the kind that orders cheap champagne. That's Home Land Security BS! Two bottles of Bollinger '96. NOW!"

One of these years, I will have to extend my stay either before or after the event so I can work on getting a NV CCW and find an airport I could safely fly from with parts of collection. If the I's are dotted and the T's crossed, then I'd certainly be willing to be share my toys with the other participants, if (and only if) the organiser approved. Sadly, that shan't be this year, and probably not next either.

Still, the nice folks where Alicia works does offer a lovely course which should facilitate the CCW part of the process.

Does anyone going have an NV CCW?

Your recommendations have been considered and after being stunned to find that the Q allowed 4 cylinder (no supercharger, turbocharger, or rockets) versions of the Mazda 6 into the motor pool. Consequently, it appears the Mustang is the winner! :D

Roger that. Booked the airfare for Wednesday night arrival and Monday morning departure.

I never want to leave the Saturday night festivities early just to be at the LV airport at 7:30 Sunday morning again. I thought I was going to have to travel in that dinner jacket! :(

Sadly, mission parameters preclude that this time (PM me if you're on the need to know list and I'll bring you up to speed). Of course, that makes it available for other 00s

Did I mention that starting last year, the GTH became available as a soft-top? I'm sure there's a deserving 00 whose turn it is.

How does one avail oneself of the opportunities presented? To whom does one apply? To whom does one remit payment and for how much does one remit it? Where does one ascertain the specific schedule of the proposed activities and their locations and gains some understanding of the transportation and ? These are questions that burn my brain every time I see this topic. Perhaps one of those "in the know" will be willing to share this information...

I know that there will be a website set up soon with registration details. The home base for this years event I believe will be at The Venetian in Las Vegas. Bryce 003 is the main orginazer of the event and I'm sure like past years, they will provide transportation from the airport to the event. You are on your own as to getting to Vegas. I'm sure he will post a tentative schedule on the website once it is up, but I know there will be many surprises that are not on the schedule. Is is not a chaep event (I don't know what the cost is for this year yet)but the event is worth 10x the price. I attended last year (and plan on attending this year) and it was some of the most fun I have ever had in my life.

The main site URL mentioned is DaretobeBond.com. The site is, as I type this, still showing information from last year's event; but it may answer some of your questions. You may find that the event schedule from last year is helpful. There is also an FAQ link.

After raising the lovely topic of the literary Bond's Beretta .25, it's the least I can do for you.

Cheers!
