Harrods. The Terrace restaurant after showing Miss West about.

We had a lovely day of it before dining at Scott's later.

Lovely, and The Terrace looks nice too!

You don't know the half of it.

Oh BTW, I am in for DTBB3. Not so sure about Mrs D07, she is sounding wish-washy lately - I suspect some form of SMERSH brain-washing.

Remind madam that there are specific events planned for just the "Non-Bonds" this year that I am sure she will enjoy, and we would enjoy her company if for no other reason that to gather further intel on you, sir!

Felix, the man who fought for the women!

I showed her the itinerary, and she is intrigued by these Bondgirl beauty options.

With Professor Dent visiting this weekend I think we'll get it figured out - one way or the other.

Curiously, my wife is debating which of the two event tracks (00 or Bond Girl, for lack of a better description) she prefers. I thought she would surely take the Bond Girl option; but it seems she may well surprise me.

You two boys raise a Vesper (or six) and I'm sure you'll put it straight. Felix has been working hard covering the bases with his people. I'm off to Vegas next week for a two night hit & run to do a last bit of business with the good chaps and chap-ettes at the Venetian. Miss West is a bit involved with her regular (cover) employment, but it seems that the lovely Lava Sterling will be meeting up with me out there and she's agreed to scope out some of the spa elements.

"If it HAS to be done John, I'll suffer through a massage and pool side cabana for the good of DTBB." - Poor thing. What a trooper.

We will definitely be enjoying some fine distilled spirits this weekend. Looks like there will be a heat wave sweeping through the area this weekend so we will need to hydrate often.

Also, I'm in for the extravaganza at The Venetian known as DTBB3. :(

I'll register as soon as I know if it is for 2 or 1. I booked my flights back in February for Wednesday night and Monday morning.

Funds should not be an issue after the Professor and I complete our little side-mission this weekend. ;_

Lads, we may need to issue a "burn notice" on certain executives of a certain network in as much as they have done our own darkpath wrong by revoking his intended leave to attend our event.

Due to his cover, he has shifted positions in his "identity" - for the better ideally - but as a result, the powers that be have disavowed his intended leave. We spoke yesterday. As strong and dependable as he has always been, the notion that he, at present, may be unable to attend was quite the blow.

Now, being as resourceful as he is, all may not be lost, but he was certainly feeling defeated. I suggested/demanded that he treat himself to a well deserved vesper (or six) and take comfort in the arms of his ladies. He promised to do so.

Felix, see if any of your boys can "send a message" or Jaguar, D-O-7, Professor, Just Another Double-O, 004 and myself may need to go for a C-K that will involve multiple targets. Didn't want to step on your toes, but action must be taken.

Let the Director know that it's not personal, THIS is business....For a personal friend.

Cyanide in Elderberry wine is a most effective tool in assignment negotiations.

Darkpath, I'm very sorry to hear you may be having departure complications. I sincerly hope things work out and you can make it afterall (just this time please leave the DC swimtrunks at home  Just giving you a bad time ).

Just working on the logistics of my insertion...It's looking good. Flights are being co-operative. Employer and costs are always trying to undermine a successful mission. However, North Scorpion should prevail...

Oh, you didn't get the memo from Q-branch? That's the new standard issue. :) All 00s need to make sure they're issued a pair by Quartermaster right away.

Well, I'm off to Vegas tomorrow for two days to seal up final details. May be flying solo or possibly have Miss West or Miss Sterling joining me. Maybe both. Ah, the hell that is my life.

Felix - Get me that shopping/check list we discussed. I'll talk to you today. I won't have a laptop with me, but I'll let you know my suites in room fax number and be checking in via the business center. Mobile will be on as well.

Also, let your watch dogs at the airport know I'm not worth burning any film on when I arrive. This trip is personal business, not professional. Unless of course, someone tries to kill me.

That memo was faked by 004. Q has told me, in no uncertain terms, that the swimwear mentioned is not, and shall never be, standard issue by his branch. Any agent wearing said swimwear will receive a "special" delivery directly from Q. And my Director has sanctioned any, and all, actions in this matter.

*awakes from haze*

Vegas....

Um...yeah.

*injects coffee directly into neck*

We are set. Locked and (at least I was) loaded.

Miss Sterling was of great help. She suffered through the spa and us being upgraded to a Piazza suite. The cabanas were a chore too. You'll all hate them. Horrible I tell you. I'm sure we'll make do though.

"Mister Bryce, the Venetian is honored to have you and your staff and attendee's for this event. If there's anything more we can do, just let us know."

*Bryce signs cheque*

'nuff said.

P.S. Felix - I ran into one of those "time-share" bastards (D-0-7 knows the score) and you might want to send in your "cleaners" to the gardens near pool number 2. Sorry, but it HAD to be done.

Shame it couldn't wait until August, I take great joy in planting those bastards upside down in planters.

Mrs D07 will not be joining us this year. With that decision made, it is time to register and make sure the dinner jacket is clean and ready to go.

Professor Dent and I got a little practice in at the gun range last week, it wasn't quite the same without fully automatic weapons and girls in mini-skirts.

After last years events I'm suprised she is letting you free in Vegas without supervision!

Remember-what happens
in Vwgas, stays in vegas (and on CBn)
