The thing is that since we now know that this is "script leakage" lead, it really won't make any difference whether there are MGM owned graphics on the site or not.
Another day, there will be a new Bond film, someone will submit a script to CBn or whoever and all that needs to be said is that "it is fan written, but the verdict is still out as to whether it really is or not." No graphics - all words, wherein lies their problem.
As to being protected by MGM for my own sake, well, I now have this warm and fluffy feeling all over. Now that I know that not seeing a picture of Connery in Thunderball from 37 years ago will only enhance my DAD viewing pleasure, I have to say "Thankyou Petey."

I just got my Thai MOONRAKER poster... Beautiful art that I've not seen on any other poster.
I would post a pic...but I want to PROTECT you all.

Are the forums now configured not to allow any attached images?
What happens if someone attaches a poster image 3 months down the line who is unaware of this circus? Do the webmasters get clobbered and kicked into the middle distance?

If we leave if long enough, I believe so. You see, we have to sort out all the main page problems then turn the images back on. Then we have to totter around deleting peoples attachments, for their protection.
