I really hope this is not the case. After his fantastic portrayal of Bond in Casino Royale, I think Craig should get stuck into the part and turn out at least another 3 films.

I too don't want to read much into this but it's certainly a bit nervy after one good Bond film and the thought of leaving already!

We get premium Bond after so many years and so the thought of losing Daniel and then trying to find another is unbearable for another round of Bond despair.


I hope Daniel continues for a few more movies, as I feel actors who commit to Bond know how important and cherished the role is to have and would want to give fans the most they could from a role that people only dream about, as well as some other side projects.

Daniel is really giving us the movies though, which is great now!
