Not sure what a would mean. Drugs maybe?

Seems to me his comment is implying that he's going to come in after the scripts done and perform another rewrite.
This is GREAT NEWS!
Sounds about right to me. I'd love to see this happen.

Seems to me that Haggis is just being a tad mischievous here. He hopes to be called back? Expects to be called back? Doesn't have much faith in P&W doing a finished script?Haggis told me with a peculiar smile that he was not involved in the film ... yet.

Well, it's not actually news.....yet, is it?
Agreed. I don't see anything from this article to really indicate anything other than the fact that he's currently not on board for Bond 22.

I'll cake walk on the ceiling now: I see both Campbell and Haggis returning for another monster hit.
It would be nice!

Wonder what Eon should do?

What a sequel it would be if Campbell and Haggis returned.

Let me see, Campbell + Haggis + Purvis & Wade = largest grosses in history of franchise.
Wonder what Eon should do?
Keep P&W at least. Last time Tamahori + Purvis & Wade = largest grosses in history of franchise.

The more of the creative team that put CR together that will return for Bond 22, the better I will feel about it. I just want some continuity in the series and after the success of CR it would seem natural to want that type of creativity be seen through.

I'm glad the guy doing it is the guy who did some magic on Casino Royale.
But...
I wasn't 100% happy with all the dialogue in Casino Royale - some of it was laid on too thick and tended towards the over dramatic.
Still, I'm hard to please and they could do far, far worse than involve Haggis again.

I'm for fresh perspectives on bond, that's what Hagis gave us and good for him. Now let's get some ideas from someone else. Here's to Bond 22 being another fresh take on 007 and the world of James Bond. Even if it is a continuation. And that's fine by me too.

Where did you read all this?I'm ecstatic that P&W will have someone re-writing their stuff. Their material tends to need it.

I going to throw some ice water on this party. I hope Hagis doesn't come back. Martin Campbell either. Why? Because Bond 22 will be a remake of CR. We have CR. Let's see what else we can have. There are plenty of talented writers and directors out there and lots of ideas for Bond while we're at it. On other boards members say we can't have QT or Speilberg or G. Del Toro or whoever but we can keep Hagis coming back?

Hear what you're saying, but the best stretch of Bond was arguably in the 60s, when Maibaum and Young were primarily shaping what was Bond. Consistency at that high of a level we haven't had since, bringing back the writing team that made CR (and perhaps even the director?) would be awesome, IMO. Tired of making do with worse.

Well, I'm assuming the speculation is true...
P&W's need for rewrites is obvious fromt the Bond scripts they have written...
