The pacing is something that's really not on TB's side, (a result from the editor being left to cobble it together.
The pacing is on TB's side because in GF there are some spots that get dull(the middle of the movie has 007 locked up),where in TB the pace of the movie builds and intensifies with every scene,yes there are some spots in TB like the underwater scenes that everyone seems to find horrible,slow or downright tiring,but the scenes are not that horrible,remember they were good enough to get special effects awards then,now they are not as impressive but they are still good.
