Most recently I was an International Technical Consultant for a software company providing solutions for the wiring harness industry. That is all the wires in your car.
While I was there I worked in France, Lithuania, Israel, India and the UK - I even did some [one days worth just before I left] work on the Vantage's wiring system at one of the Jag plants!! But I wasn't that interested in wires or cars, or being over looked when promotion came along. The company was called Harness Software, but when we were bought out by Mentor Graphics we all quite quite a bit of money from the share save deal. So I packed my bags and left to do an MA in Communications Studies at Leeds Uni. [I had been done a self taught A-Level in media studies during my last year at Mentor].
I did quite well on my MA, so signed up to do a Phd at Bradford Uni - which is where I am sitting right now. The subject of my doctorate concerns the implications of cinema assuming technologies and practices akin to television [that is Digital Cinema (video aquisition, projection, satallite distribution, provision of alternative content, flexible programming, live presentation, etc)]. I'm about 16 months into it at the moment - with 20 months to go!
I also put magazines on the shelves of WH Smiths.
on saturday i work at a chocolate factory.
I also used to work in a chocolate factory - the "House of Fundraising" in Melbourne [nasty charity chocolate with that gritty white stuff - I loved it!]. This was perhaps the best job I ever had. All the chocolait you could steal. great!!

James Bond figures aren't "Dolls". They are "Action Figures" or collectible figures.
Anyway, I do all of the marketing for a company that makes a tailgating barbecue that hooks onto an SUV or Truck's hitch to make it easier to get it to a game. I do a lot of writing, graphics work, developing relationships, trade shows, and promotions. It's a lot of work but Las Vegas trade shows are great. Plenty of time for blackjack and craps.
I did Internet marketing for years until the "dot-bomb" wiped me out. Where was 007 when we needed him? Before that I sold newspaper advertising.
I've never worked in a chocolate factory but my mom worked in a bakery when I was in high school. The free pastries were amazing.

It's my first job, I've been there almost two months, it's not bad. I'm getting the hang of it. Things are pretty low-key and there's plenty of downtime, but I hear the holiday season will get pretty insane.
