I own these two items:
Persol 2244-S
Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T10 (Black DSC-T50 in the movie but it's close enough)

"Expensive" seems an inadequate description.

I had toyed with adding a Walther P99 to my collection, though some of the discussions on the forum seem to suggest that it's a trifle bit of a brick (heavy and bulky) and apparently a trifle fussy. I'll stick with my ASPs.
If Sony made the Vaio notebooks available with some variant of BSD, instead of Windows, then I might consider one of those. In the meantime, I'll stick with my PowerBook.
I am considering getting a peacoat like the one Bond wears in the second of his two 00 qualifying kills.

That's what I mean.If you mean did I go out and buy an Aston Martin, Sony Vaio and a defibrillator, then no, I suppose it didn't work.

It featured throughout the film but most notably as Mr White's car at the end.

It is a little bulky, but then most guns are when compared to a BHP or 1911. I don't think it's really heavy at all, being a polymer-framed gun. It's lighter than all of my similar sized pistols. As far as fussiness goes, I've never had a single failure in the time I've owned mine, and to my knowledge it ran flawlessly for the previous owner too. Go ahead and get one, but look for a used one, because the new ones just look ugly.I had toyed with adding a Walther P99 to my collection, though some of the discussions on the forum seem to suggest that it's a trifle bit of a brick (heavy and bulky) and apparently a trifle fussy. Out of the products featured in the movie, all I've got are the aforementioned P-99, and a Browning Hi-Power like the one Bond picked up in the embassy. I already had both of those, so I guess the movie really didn't influence me.

Ditto; I asked for a Caterina Murino for Christmas, but no such luck.Yeah, I'd like one of those Eva Greens.

I guess I'm more inclined to pick up a Hi-Power/GP35 than the P99. As far as the Astons go, I'd be more inclined to hire one for a special occassion than to own one outright. It is a little bulky, but then most guns are when compared to a BHP or 1911. Most likely, I'll only be purchasing ensembles that match or at least resemble those Bond used.

Naturally. I was just pointing out that the P-99 isn't a bad gun, but given the choice, I'd go with the HP every time. It feels better, has more history behind it, and just plain looks better.I guess I'm more inclined to pick up a Hi-Power/GP35 than the P99.
