The Bond films rarely ever go back to the same well when it comes to the lead Girl no matter how popular. (Maude Adams, perhaps, being an exception...but then again she was never the lead girl in TMWTGG)

So this is wishful hoping from someone who's past her prime as a Hollywood sex symbol.

Anyone, quite obviously, who is on the wane would want to align themselves with a highly respected group such as Craig and the Broccoli clan as well as the most successful francise the world of modern entertainment has ever know.

Perhaps she could return in *a* role...just not in an overhyped role or *the* Bond Girl role. She is past that now.

I bet the likes of Angelina Jolie and Charlize Theron are regretting not being involved in Casino Royale (*if* they were offered anything...which they likely were not) as, soon enough, they too will be past it and will no doubt be replaced in the next year or two by whatever the flavour of the month may be.

It's a continuous cleansing thing as the plastic Hollywood gets rid of old and hails fresh 'n new.

Bring on the next Eva Green, Eon! Pleaseantly surprise us with 'fresh' in Bond 22!!!

...which is unlikely considering Contact Music seems to have a habit of actually using one word out of a quote an actor makes and then turning it into something completely different.

I think Halle's role was changed by P&W, Tamahori and the producers after she got a nomination for best actress.

That nomination twisted the entire project around in order to capitalise on the buzz surrounding her oscar at a time when the producers lacked the confidence to take James Bond into the territoy they took it a few years later.

I think Berry was given certain material and the material undermined her and a fair bit of the project that revolved around her.

I think if she came back to Bond it would be in a smaller role. Speaking of which, the same could be said of Benecio del Toro and a host of others.

I agree with Publius. That is too funny. Unlike the story that Halle might come back.

I will add, that I like Halle Berry as an actress. I think her talent would better serve another project.
