London's Metro newspaper said that Halle Berry is desperate to return in Bond 22. She said she was so keen to return to the franchise with Daniel Craig at the helm that she is willing to do it for free!

What are you guys talking about?!? That would be FANTASTIC!! The best thing they could do with the Bond franchise is forget that stupid "continuity reboot" idea and bring back the strongest and most independent heroine Bond's ever been paired up with! She propped up DAD with two hands! That movie would have been dismal without Halle. Nevermind that she had some of the best lines of the entire franchise..."Yo mama!" Lol... And that "half the girl I used to be" line in the laser scene...did she ad-lib that? We know P&W couldn't have come up with writing that clever. That thankfully broke the massive tension that Bond's fight with Mr. Kil was producing.

I mean, Casino Royale was great, but it could have been so much better if the girl had been Jinx...wait, no! If Jinx had been in place of Felix Leiter. Who really wants him back? Then we could have had Bond the way he's supposed to be. Who thinks Bond should be monogamous? Fleming was obviously short on time, so he must have cut the other girl he had written in, as it kind of distracted. He knows his own Bond better than that! So yeah, Jinx saves Bond's butt again, bails him out, exchanges her services for a little "favor," bam...the movie is back on track. And then just as Mathis is about to kill Bond, she plugs him in the forehead instead of him being stunned by those two guys, who nobody even recognized!

Please EON, please bring back Jinx! She left all those other female agents in the dust and looked way hotter coming out of the ocean in a bikini than Ursula Andress! (Especially with her sexy hip swivels!)

I don't see why this is hard to believe. I'm sure Berry would love to work with Craig and return to the Bond series. The likelihood of it happening is a separate issue.

0012--great post, I find the satire and sarcasm absolutely fantastic. I mean, for a few fleeting moments, until I saw what you were doing, I actually thought you were being serious. Imagine, having us believe you, or anyone, would want Berry back? Too darn, funny, or as the kids say: ROFLMAO.

I mean, the way you state that "Yo mama" was a great Bond girl line--priceless. The way you make Jinx sound like an equal to Bond--brilliant, for she certainly looked like an equal whining for help and squealing while about to get cut by the laser beams. Equally funny, in the "equals" department, was the way she allowed herself to be trapped in her room so Bond would have to rescue her. Yep, sounds like someone I'd want on my team while fighting the forces of evil.

Another nice touch was her showing Danny what a real Bond girl was. Too funny. But, realistically, how would she know? She was one of the worst to hit the screen practically in the series. I guess it's true, the Oscar is only as good as the film it was nominated for, and one cannot expect the actor(ress) to carry that on in other films. But I disgress, and don't mean to diminish your humorous post.
