3 Bond crashing through barriers, surprisingly, amusingly as a character beat: tank through wall, Bond through plasterwall.
4 Both movies make use of the inherent structure of a Bond film. Both pretitle sequences are set at some period before the body of the film and the main titles are used to poetically convey time progressing (the only times - with Dr No and Die Another Day - that the titles have a
narrative function in Bond).
