Don't know if this news has been posted already, I wasn't at home for a week.
I read on an italian newspaper "Il Giornale", an interview with Giancarlo Giannini, and he gave some hints on Bond 22.
He has already signed for it. so we will see him on the new bond film.
Next I'm going to write could be a spoiler for the next bond...
He said his charachter (Mathis) is a good man, just like M explain to Bond on the phone at the end of Casino Royale, and on the next one he will show it.
His double face portrayal will be the vehicle to reach to the top of the organization.
That's all he said
Hello,
It's a shame that Giancarlo reveals that he's not a traitor.I would have seen him in a same entrapment that Vesper, with threatened children, something like that, or a blackmail about his past...
Le Chiffre and his organisation were too smart I think to have infiltrated only one mole.
I hope he'll be back and longer than Zukowski!

Maathis could haave a leg and an arm eaten by a sshark in 22. Richard Kiel can play the sshark.
lol!
Good news about the Mathis character though; perhaps there will be some sort of closure since he exited CR on such a question mark...

It'll be neat to see a Bond movie that's a direct sequel and continues the story of the previous movie.

'M' trained VESPER's Algerian boyfriend ?
Eh?
On the novel version of "Casino Royale," Vesper's suicide note mentions that her boyfriend was trained by M.
Very glad to hear that Giannini is back. Very charming personality.

He's good, now he's bad, now he's good. Is this Fleming or Gardner?
Now that made me laugh...

I agree. It's nice to hear that he'll be returning. It will help Bond 22 feel even more connected to Casino Royale. It's great to hear that they're bringing Giannini back for Bond 22. I think that one of the weaker points in previous films had been the casting of different actors in the roles of of recurring characters in the previous films, so it's good to see some continuity here, and especially the continued involvement of such a high-quality actor.
