Just think about it : most girls use heavy make up (thought not my wife, but many of my ex did), and we only see them without make up in intimity, very close relationship. It instantly etablishes a closer rapport / bond (pardon the pun) to the male audience with her, like if we actually had the relationship ourselves. So it pays off when she dies.
I think there is one craig scene in there that does the same with the female audience. (or gay audience). But which one ?

Not at all. You have you own, and quite lovely look too! This is a hopeful sign for a woman that hates to wear/apply/smudge makeup!
Ohh wait, you have to look like Eva Green for that rule to apply
My thoughts are simply that she is blessed with equisite skin and it seems a dire tragedy to cover or conceal it.
Quite right 003! I second that notion!!!I'd gladly sit in a shower, in full tux, with her or any of the Bond Girls here on CBn.
It's worth the dry-cleaning or valet service.

I just gotta say that's absolutely adorable 003 and when a girl reads it at 45 minutes past midnight when she's half dead and hair's still wet from the shower, she just wants to go back to the shower...

Darkpath - gotta say that I'll third it then even though I'm a gal. Amazing to find two true gentlemen in teh same thread when there barely are any at all these days! Kudos!

The shower, chocolates and dry-cleaning of your gown/dress are on me in Vegas Miss Brand. Not to mention the photo op. I'm sure there'll be many a camera when that time comes.

"See?...They're clean...No blood...Are you cold?"

I'm talking about the one slight "flaw" in her beauty (like Domino's limp, Honey's nose, etc.)--specifically, from certain angles, it looks like her two front teeth aren't exactly aligned. I thought it was sexy as hell, myself. I hope to God she doesn't get them fixed.

I hadn't consciously registered that detail. Thank you for giving me another excellent reason to see CR again!.. not that I really needed a reason beyond, "Because it's there."I also thought Vesper was striking without makeup, but there's something else I liked more--and it's so very Fleming-esque.

Looks like a pretty nice 'Vesper and Bond go swimming' scene was cut from the movie. Based on the book it would have come during/after his recovery.

At the start of the scene where Bond gets his tailored DJ, we see Vesper with "no makeup", before she starts applying the dark eyeshadow, lipstick etc.
Who else things she looks far better without the makeup, far more fanciable.
After seeing it for the 2nd time, I would also add her scene on the beach with Bond also shows off her beauty minus makeup. I'm surprised no one has mentioned that. She looks wonderful there.

Yes, it was in amongst the yacht and beach scenes following his recovery. Hopefully it will appear on the DVD!Looks like a pretty nice 'Vesper and Bond go swimming' scene was cut from the movie. Based on the book it would have come during/after his recovery.
