It's hard to say becuase both reboots were so sucessful and brought more fans into that franchise.
But if I had to guess I'd choose... The Dark Knight.

Having said that, assuming we're talking about worldwide box office, then Bond 22.

Worldwide. Are we talking domestically (America) or worldwide? Domestically it'll probably be Batman, worldwide will be Bond.

Non-USA B.O. - BOND 22 will probably be bigger.
Worldwide B.O. - No clue.

Worldwide, however, it will be, to quote Alec Trevelyan: "Bond, only Bond."

The box office race will be close in America, but considering that it will open in the summer and feature Batman's arch-nemesis the Joker, I will go with The Dark Knight.
Worldwide, however, it will be, to quote Alec Trevelyan: "Bond, only Bond."
Box office, smock office, I want to know who would win in a fight. I go with 007 as he's only slightly less psychotic.

It's more likely that Bond 22 will have far less competition, than Batman which is comming out in the summer. I think I read that release date for Bond 22 film was actually moved around so that it would have less competition from potentially more popular films.

1 - CR did better than B.Begins. There's your first clue.
2 - Bond will be more in the public memory than Batman comes 2008.

Also isn't Bond comming out in November 2008? And TDK in June 2008?
Right.

I think that it will be close in the domestic (US) box office, with The Dark Night ending up with a slight advantage over Bond 22. In the worldwide market, however, if Casino Royale is any indication, Bond 22 will be a big winner.
indeed.

Thank God for the international markets. Due to the Ledger/hype factor of TDK (there was not Ledger factor when this thread was created) I think there is a possibility that the US grosses will be strong enough to compensate for Bond's international take.
Its really a toss up at this point (and really depends on how good QoS turns out to be).
