Seeing all the fun that was being had with the "Female Reaction to Daniel Craig" thread, I thought I'd start one for Eva Green. She completely blew this long-term fan away, in terms of acting chops, intensity of gaze that would stop a bull elephant in it's tracks, and in general she was the most luminous presence in the film. She shot right up to the top of Bond babes for me, and I just wish she got the chance at a spin off rather than the rumored Jinx spin off...

Anybody else taken with Ms. Green?

She's easily one of my all-time favorite Bond Girls/actresses.

Sign me up. Eva Green's performance was one of the only ones(certainly the only one in a Bond film), where I really fell in love with her just by watching the movie. While it's quite easy to be attractive in a movie, it's totally another thing to have that indescribable allure, and then to be able to project it through film to an audience. By god, she pulled it off wonderfuly.

As an aside, I only wish they didn't give her so much makeup during the movie. IMO she easily looks five times more beautiful without it.

I'm a long-timer, too. As I have said elsewhere in these threads, Eva Green is the most beautiful without all the make-up. The hotel room scene (The Dress, The Dinner Jacket) where she is looking at Bond, and later beginning to apply her make-up in the mirror...Jeezzus, she so gorgeous!!

Darling, if you're reading this...I would like to respectfully ask for your hand in marriage.

I know it's very sudden...but I really do love you. I know I'll never meet another girl like you.

Seriously just think it over.

Please?

The NC-17 version of The Dreamers is only $4.97 at Amazon.com! I'm going to get it. :)

I'm in love with her which is why I have her as my wallpaper on my cell phone.

Easily one of the strongest Bond girls ever. Green is a definite highlight of the film. She shines in every scene she is in.

Agreed zencat. Green is a magnificent actress and a tasty crumpet at that; she emerges in Casino Royale as an incredibly dynamic performer.

Absolutely gorgeous, as is Caterina Murino. I'm in love with them both.

Just a quick note, it seems her head have gone BIG since CR, many journalists here in France find difficult to interview her, when she appears to interviews at all (many have done the Caterina Murino instead, and report that EG act like a prima donna). Seems to fit the role thought... It seems we have another Sophie "gimmealineofcokepal !" Marceau in there. Don't conclude all french actresses are the same LOL

is this for real?
I mean, I seen Eva in interview and she's very shy. I just hope that she is that way and of couse, not like Sophie Marceau. Eva is way better. She's young and I hope those thing does not get on her mind. She still have a long way to go to be well known.

Otherwise, I love Eva Green - I don't think anyone can portray Vesper Lynd the way she did. She is terrific

Holy mother of god. I got it last week from Netflix.

All I can say is ... one hour in, as the young boy licks her toes and gazes up her ... well, it's just nice, that's all I'm saying. :)

(I hate to be a dirty old man, but damn!)

I'm a girl and when I watch the Dreamers - I was having my eye shut most of the time. I guess I can't stand watching movie like that but I have to agree with the director saying Eva Green is "so beautiful, it's indecent" - she looked nice in that movie, pretty in Kingdom of Heavens, and of couse extraordinary in Bond...

Smitten with her. Yesterday watched The Dreamers, which could well be one of the most beautiful films of all time. So, now I am in love with her.

I think she's currently in a relationship, judging by the article on her in the Tatler Casino Royale issue.

Eva Green is stunning. Upon watching CASINO ROYALE and the KINGDOM OF HEAVEN: DIRECTOR'S CUT (yeah, the DC makes a big difference, given that a lot of her part ended up being cut from the theatrical), I found myself falling in love.

Beautiful and talented, with a maturity well beyond her years. :cooltongue:

Let's just say that as a female, I'd trade my looks in for hers any old day. She's absolutely gorgeous, plus she seems really sweet and down to Earth. Eva's just not into that whole Hollywood thin thing, one of my fave quotes from her has to be "I'm French, which means I smoke, I'm lazy, and I don't exercise". Or at least it was something like that. Either way, she's amazing! :cooltongue:
