Can't wait to see it. Have been looking forward to it since I got a copy of the script - so about 9 months now. One of the coolest moments in Bond history? What do people think? It seemed like it had that potential from the script. It's cool. But it's not the delivery itself that is memorable, it's the way the scene is set up for him to say it. You'll see...
Oh, and after he says that his name is: "Bond, James Bond", does he say "What's yours?"

No... he calls him Mr. White over the phone, who replies "Who is this?"... and then on the steps he says "the name's Bond... James Bond", and theres the slight hint of a smile. And that's it. Definitely one of the coolest endings in the series, time will tell if it becomes looked upon as a classic momentCan't wait to see it. Man, with the hint of brass music, his fitting sharp suit, handsome look and his machine gun, Daniel just oozed into what we know as James Bond, and he delivers the line in a confident and thrilling way.
James Bond is born.
James Bond is back.
Daniel Craig IS James Bond.
Daniel Craig will return.
...that's what I read into it anyway!

How is Craig's delivery of "Bond, James Bond" at the end?
Not as good as the one where he comes back to the card game after drinking that dodgy martini and says "that last hand neally killed me".

What you're describing here... is this scene showed in nearly all of the trailers with him holding up the silenced machine gun in front of some building?A great ending!

Yes. And he delivers the line spot-on.

And did anyone else get the crap scared out of them when Bond fires the gun? lol
His delivery is perfect but did anyone notice that its the same way that Mathis introduces himself to Bond at the start... so he compies it like a joke or perhaps to get recognition off White?
Anyway...its pitch perfect like most of his performance.

Also did anyone else pick up on the line from 'M' when she refers to the press as 'b@stards'...do you think that was a little payback for the way the press crucified Daniel at the press launch?..If so BRILLIANT..just what the 'b@stards' deserve.
Nice one EON !!!

When Mr White gets shot, thats when a subtle undercurrent of the theme begins, and continues as he crawls along, and as Craig's feet go past him... then Craig delivers the line and it's "DA DA! DAAA! DA DA DAAAA!" etc, and cut to black...Question: How does the Bond theme play? Is it the same as the clip on the official site, as in, the opening of the theme starts as soon as he delivers the line, or when he delivers the line had the theme already started when he blew Mr. Whites kc out and it kicks into high gear with the main portion (or middle part if you will) as he finishes the "James Bond" bit? Hope that question makes sense.
Hope that makes sense.

I was like "here it comes, wait for it"
and then, he blows his Kneecaps off and I was like "!! Faster than I anticipated!!"
Then again, I was a bit tipsy from the drinks I had before seeing it and at this point it was past 2:30 in the morning (caught the midnight showing)...

For all those who have seen Casino Royale:
How is Craig's delivery of "Bond, James Bond" at the end?
Craig absolutely nailed it. The ending of Casino Royale is going to be one of THE classic Bond moments.
