I also would like to say that I think Bond in CR wasn't really smooth and suave but a little too raw and animalistic and I didn't really like that.
Agreed. They made it too street for Bond.

I need to amend my old list:- Blofeld should never have been made bald, given a cat, or worn those ugly monotone suits.
- The films aren't near as compelling as their counterpart novels, except TSWLM.
- I love Roger Moore, but his Bond is pretty foppish. God bless him.
- Lazenby would have been great in further movies.
- TND should have remained Tomorrow Never Lies. It would have actually made sense, and it sounds infinitely more Flemingesque.

GOLDENEYE is a terrible Bond film. Six years and that's all it was....a lazy Roger Moore offcut of a Bond film.
Pierce Brosnan cannot act.
Madonna's DIE ANOTHER DAY theme is perfect for the film.
Chris Cornell's YOU KNOW MY NAME is perfect for the film.
A VIEW TO A KILL is the most contemporary, crisp and well paced of many a Bond film.
Sean Connery is allegedly a *****r!
Sophie Marceau cannot act.
TOMORROW NEVER DIES is Brosnan's best Bond film and the best Bond film since A VIEW TO A KILL.
Daniel Craig's BOND will be the first 007 to sleep with a man to gain information.
Madonna's DIE ANOTHER DAY theme is perfect for the film.
Chris Cornell's YOU KNOW MY NAME is perfect for the film.
TOMORROW NEVER DIES is Brosnan's best Bond film...
Thunderball is the most boring Bond Film
All Six actors are equally good as James Bond
Well, Connery is crap. SO bored. Easily the worst Bond performance of any actor.YOLT is not that good.
2) Eric Serra's Goldeneye score is fantastic and inventive.
4) Sheryl Crow's Tomorrow Never Dies theme is terrific.

Burn Zorin Industries, you heretic, BURN!
The flames are lapping at my feet as we speak. Though I do appear to be stuck in a San Fran elevator wearing only a white nightie and a stuntman's blonde wig...

I really, really like Sheryl Crow's Tomorrow Never Dies. I like k.d. lang's Surrender too, but I just don't see what's wrong with Crow's song.
Christmas Jones doesn't bother me. Perhaps... I even like her.

Goldfinger is the 2nd most visually depressing Bond film in the series. It loses to DAF.

Er - Ken Adam anyone? How can GOLDFINGER be the second most visually depressing Bond film...?!! Not that this thread is for arguing. We should just state our 007 gripes and move on. The fun is reading other peoples.

I don't know what I was thinking in writing these. Please forgive and disregard.(I admit, this is my second go)
- Robert Brown never stopped playing Admiral Hargreaves.
- LTK was one of the most Flemingesque Bond films, minus the fake locale.
- A young, fit Laz would have been much better in DAF than Sean.
- Connery wasn't slacking in his Bond portrayal yet in TB.
- The cat served no purpose in making Blofeld more interesting.

Daniel Craig in Casino Royale is the single greatest portrayal of James Bond in any single Bond film.
Is that really unorthodox?
Goldeneye is far more bogged down with emotion than The World Is Not Enough. TWINE gets it right, GE gets melodramatic.

-Dr. No is my 2nd favorite Bond. I see it in pretty mediocre positions on fav lists and it's the least voted official Connery Bond in the poll.
-The Man with the Golden Gun is my FAVORITE Moore Bond. I'm aghast at how low of an opinion it has around here, i recall on an imdb poll it was the 2nd or 3rd most voted thankfully.
-Brosnan's 3 last Bonds are my least favorites (along with DAF) of the whole series, kind screwed up how his best was a Dalton movie.
