Does anyone know who the new Moneypenny is? Do you know where I can find a picture of her. I really loved Samantha Bond in the role and will miss her. I just hope they found someone as attractive and likeable as she was.

There is no new Moneypenny at the moment. The character (along with Q) will not be appearing in Casino Royale.

Had Timothy Dalton got to make more than two films, Bliss might have developed into a decent Moneypenny. And as attractive as she is, I was never really fond of Samantha Bond's Moneypenny

Yes, also James Bond will be a 39 year old virgin. Le Chiffre will torture him by waxing his hairy chest like Steve Carrel did to himself in the other movie. Vesper will be his salvation from the damnation of virginity. There is no new Moneypenny at the moment. The character (along with Q) will not be appearing in Casino Royale.
At the fag end of DAD, Samantha started looking more like Dame Judi Dench. And as attractive as she is, I was never really fond of Samantha Bond's Moneypenny

I think the exclusion of Moneypenny (and Q, for that matter) is a great way to leave something new for Bond 22. And, let's be honest, are they really needed, storywise, in CR?
Spoiler (highlight to read):
They could visit 007 in the hospital when he and his balls are healing from the beating by Le Chiffre.

I reckon we're not going to see 007 walk through M's leather-padded door for a while then. Unless, of course, Villiers will be the proverbial gate-keeper.

Why would a new Moneypenny be needed for BOND 22, when it would be much easier to bring back Villiers?
Agreed. I thought that Villiers was a nice change of pace and certainly wouldn't mind seeing him return for Bond 22.

I'm onboard with that idea. Introducing Moneypenny means bringing back the Moneypenny banter formula. Been there, done that, let's try doing Bond without that for a while now.

It certainly does look like Villiers is the new Miss Moneypenny (minus the innuendo) in the series. Will be interesting to see if he does return for Bond 22.

Perhaps the innuendo will move to being between Villiers and M.
(Shivers at mental picture.)

Wouldn't rule that out.

Villiers: I always thought M was a randomly assigned initial, I had no idea it stood for—
M: Utter one more syllable and I’ll have you whipped. Grrr...owl.

I thought the guy was Tanner?
Villiers was more like an amalgam of Moneypenny and Tanner, wasn't he? I liked him ok. It'll be interesting to see if he shows up in later films.

I have it on good authority that the new Moneypenny is Martin Lawarence in his Big Mama costume.

Well, since P&W said in an interview that it's unlikely Moneypenny will be returning anytime soon, I imagine Villiers will be sticking around. It's an interesting dynamic for M to have a male secretary (I'm sorry, "assistant") that Bond has to interact with, and while not a whole lot was done with it in CASINO ROYALE, there's room to have some fun with that.Agreed. I thought that Villiers was a nice change of pace and certainly wouldn't mind seeing him return for Bond 22.Why would a new Moneypenny be needed for BOND 22, when it would be much easier to bring back Villiers?
Perhaps in BOND 23, Dench's M will have retired, and in will come a new M and will bring Moneypenny with him, and then we'll have their first meeting. Who knows?

I could see that happening...but not in the next film. I'd like to see Villers stick around for a while.
