No, it's a dire off-cut of a song with no 'Bond-ness' to it at all. It sounds like something a Bond computer game would reject...

It's not a very good song, but personally I prefer something with no "Bond-ness" to it to something which tries so desperately to be a Bond song to the extent that they overlook putting any melody into it. Which is why Turner's effort is my least favourite Bond song. That, and it was played to death on the radio.

As youtube has deleted the video containing the Ace of Base version of GoldenEye (The Juvenile's Demo with different lyrics), is there any other way of hearing it? I'm very interested and have searched on various Ace of Base forums, but found nothing. I'm not asking for the video, just the song. :cooltongue:

Please help

To defend the AoB song is that you have only heard a demo of it. It's a long way from a finished product. Yes, you heard "Juvenile" but that song is re-recorded a few years after the demo and so on. If you have heard Bono and Edge's demo of Goldeneye you almost wonder if its the same song Tina Turner sings. Always have in mind that a demo is a demo and a finished song is a finished song and there are miles from each other.

Since I heard both demo versions I would prefer AoB's version. But in the end I prefer Tina Turner's version. But then we talk about a finished "product".
