I'm going to watch Casino Royale again one of these days. Hard to believe it's been 10 years since it was released.

One of my favorites! I actually met Virginia Hey (who played Rubavitch) at a convention on Sunday and got a chance to speak to her for a few minutes. I will share her thoughts in the Timothy Dalton section of the forums later.

Look for the plot device similar to FYEO, i.e., Bond's "ally"(Kristatos/Koskov) tries to fool the British into thinking his opponent(Colombo/Pushkin) is the one behind the crimes in the film when in actuality it is the reverse.

Don't know why, but lately my mind keeps drifting away to Tomorrow Never Dies. So maybe I'll give it a rewatch this coming weekend.

MOONRAKER.  Just the right kind of fun adventure in order to forget all the terrible things going on in the world for two hours.  Puts me into the kind of childhood ease I need at Christmas.

I watched OHMSS the other night and so I feel like FYEO as it feels like the sequel and also has a great ski chase and beach fight.

I showed OHMSS to some friends once and we then watched the FYEO PTS as a coda. One of my friends is a catlover and she got all upset when Bond used the helicopter to scoop up Blofeld's wheelchair. We had to assure her that the white cat got away safely.

That's my favorite double bill of Bond films.  Not only are the fillms similar in structure and tone, but Moore's portrayal of Bond reflects a jaded cynicism earned by his loss in the 'previous' film.

Just putting on OHMSS. Hey it is Christmas time after all..

I did give OHMSS a spin during Christmas. It's even better watching the film these days for me because I've been to Switzerland a number of times now, and visited Piz Gloria a year or so ago. Great place with a great atmosphere.

Just watched "Thunderball" a couple of days ago as part of an all-the-films-in-order effort we have underway with my partner's sister and her husband. I'm hoping that our YOLT viewing will be happening soon - a perfect activity for the Wisconsin winter.
